After breakfast, the day begins with a history and muralism walking tour of Guadalajara.

What you'll do-

Buffet style breakfast served between 7am-10:30am.

10:30am  Depart hotel lobby - estimated return 2pm.

Stroll the historic center of Guadalajara learning the culture and history directly from a local expert.

Live a one-day cultural experience that will take you through the customs, and ways of life “Tapatíos” (word for residents of Guadalajara).

You will visit the main attractions of the city center: squares, monuments, churches, walkways, colonial buildings, and local craft shops.

Appreciate the murals of Jose Clemente Orozco in the Cabañas Museum, considered one of the three great exponents of Mexican muralism along with Diego Rivera and David Alfaro Siqueiros.

After learning the history, and appreciating the architecture and art, we will end up in the Libertad or San Juan de Dios market where you can find crafts, and dozens of options to try the typical drinks and foods of the region such as tejuino, torta ahogada, birria and carne en su jugo.

It is a full immersion tour into the local culture, designed to share knowledge and create a social, friendly, and fun atmosphere.

Lunch included at market after tour.

Your afternoon is free.

6:20pm Meet in hotel lobby-Depart for group dinner this evening at Bruna Restaurante. Remember to bring cash for alcoholic drinks.

-9am-Meet in hotel lobby & depart. This morning we will make our way to the town of Tequila.  (Approximately 90 minute drive)

Enjoy authentic tequila experience at premiere boutique tequila distillery, Tequila Atanasio.

Visit the agave fields and carry out tasks such as: cutting the weeds, “barbeing” the agave, cutting and planting, among other activities. Become familiar with the process of growing agave for tequila. Finish the visit under the shade and of course more tequila tastings! (2-3 hour experience)

After our tour, we will check in to a local boutique hotel, Casa Salles.  This boutique hotel is nestled within scenic grounds adjacent the distillery in the magical town of Tequila. (Approximately 20 minute drive from distillery)

Afternoon is free to. take in the spa services, explore Tequila, hang by the pool, or just do nothing. We will suggests some restaurants and local bars.

One more visit to one of the finest tequila distilleries in the area, Tequila Fortaleza. This is an authentic tequila experience! 

11:30am-Leave hotel for distillery tour (10 minute walk) - Enjoy a tour with one of our expert guides and learn the full process of creating one of Mexico’s award-winning tequila’s.  Guests will learn about the history, the unique production process and experience firsthand the passion that goes into making every drop of tequila, at one of the top 3 distilleries. Tour offers the added experience of an expert guided tasting through 3 of the finest tequilas. (2 Hours)

After our tequila experience, we will return to the hotel and have time to indulge in hotel spa services or afternoon free to continue to explore the town of tequila at your leisure. 

6:30pm - Meet in lobby to depart for farewell group dinner at La Antigua Casona.  Remember to bring cash for alcoholic drinks.

-Check out by 12pm.

Savor one more delicious breakfast at the hotel, bid farewell to your newfound friends, check out by 12pm, and then be chauffeured to the GDL airport for your journey home!
