This is a half day experience, giving you the rest of the afternoon and evening to do as you please.

Day6: Elephant Sanctuary

Day6: Elephant Sanctuary image

Elephants and Weaves

Today’s ethical Elephant encounter will begin as you are picked up at your hotel. We will embark on drive lasting roughly one and a half hours outside the city and into the northern foothills. Upon arrival, you’ll be introduced to the program’s schedule and learn about the sanctuary’s history and future.

We will walk alongside the elephants with expert guides/Mahouts, learn about their histories, and understand why this approach prioritizes their wellbeing. It’s a powerful, eye-opening experience that supports a more responsible way of interacting with wildlife. Please note, there will be no hands-on interaction with the elephants today as this experience follows a hands-off, observation only approach, in order to protect the health and wellbeing of these magnificent animals.

Enjoy traditional Thai refreshments at a rest station overlooking a mud pit where

elephants love to bathe and play. Watch the playful antics while savouring your

refreshments.

Head to the riverside sala and learn about enrichment activities. Help fill feeding tubes with corn, sugar cane, grass, and bananas, then witness the elephants enjoy their treats while taking in the scenic view from the observation deck.

Afterwards, you will savour a delicious Thai vegetarian lunch and learn about the

community’s history and traditional weaving techniques at the Karen Cultural Centre. Try your hand at weaving and support the local artisans by purchasing handmade items if you wish.

You will also pay a visit to a traditional herb garden to learn about medicinal plants for elephants and humans. Collect various herbs and gain insights into their healing

properties.

Day 7: Songkran!

Day 7: Songkran! image

Expect music, laughter, and full-on energy as we experience one of the world’s most fun festivals right in the heart of it all.

Day 10-12

Day 10-12 image

Island Time + Explore or Unwind

Welcome to Koh Phi Phi with crystal-clear water, dramatic limestone cliffs, and some of the most beautiful beaches in Thailand. This is also where The Beach, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, was filmed, giving you a glimpse into one of the most iconic island landscapes in the world. Our hotel is tucked away in a quieter part of the island, accessible only by boat, giving us a more peaceful, relaxed home base away from the crowds.

This part of the trip is intentionally unscheduled. Stay back and fully unplug: beach, pool, slow mornings, or head into Tonsai Village (the island’s main hub) by shared or private boat, where you’ll find restaurants, shops, beach bars, and nightlife. You can hike to iconic viewpoints, rent a private boat, explore nearby islands, or simply rest. It’s your time to go with the flow and choose what you need most.

For those wanting something extra special, I’m planning to offer the option to join a Maya Sleep Aboard experience... an overnight boat trip around the islands, including Maya Bay, with sunset, stargazing, and early morning swims before the crowds arrive. Available as an optional add-on.

Day 12: Come together for a final group dinner to celebrate the journey and everything shared along the way.

Day 11:Maya Sleep Aboard

Day 11:Maya Sleep Aboard image

(Optional Add-On)

This is one of the most unique experiences you can have in Thailand.

Spend the night on a boat exploring the Phi Phi islands, swimming in crystal-clear water, watching the sunset over limestone cliffs, and experiencing the ocean at night. After a BBQ and music, you’ll have the chance to swim after dark, where you'll catch glimpses of bioluminescent plankton lighting up the water around you... one of those simple but unforgettable moments.

You’ll visit iconic spots like Maya Bay (The Beach), but the real magic is being there outside of peak hours - we get there as all of the tourists are leaving!

We'll sleep on the boat, under the stars, wake up early for a sunrise swim, snorkel in clear blue water, and take in the islands before the day crowds arrive.

This is not a luxury stay, it’s a shared, adventure-style experience, but it’s one of those “I can’t believe we did that” moments that stays with you long after the trip ends. Literally, it is one my most treasured memories from all of my travels.

This will be offered as an optional add-on for those who want something a little extra unforgettable.

Day 13: Departure

Day 13: Departure image

Koh Phi Phi to Phuket Departure

After breakfast, transfer by boat from Koh Phi Phi to Phuket, then continue to the airport for your departure. Enjoy one last look at the islands as we wrap up the trip.

*The earliest safe flight departure we would recommend is from 14:00 onwards.

Koh Phangan Extension

Koh Phangan Extension image

Island Time + Optional Full Moon Party

Extend your journey with a few extra days (April 20th - April 24th) in Koh Phangan... an island known not just for its beaches, but for its unique blend of laid-back island life, vibrant culture, and a strong spiritual and wellness community.

This extension is intentionally timed to align with the island’s Full Moon Party, one of the most iconic nightlife experiences in the world. For those who want to go, we can head over together. For those who don’t, you’ll still have a peaceful home base away from the crowds.

Koh Phangan is also home to a thriving wellness scene, with opportunities to explore yoga classes, women’s circles, sound healings, workshops, and other intentional spaces happening across the island. If that’s something you’re curious about, there will be options to tap into it. If not, you can fully lean into rest, exploration, or a mix of both.

You’ll stay at a beautiful beachfront resort in a quieter part of the island, surrounded by tropical nature and just steps from calm, swimmable waters. It’s the perfect setting to slow down after the main trip, whether that means beach days, pool time, or simply doing less.

All transportation from Phuket to Koh Phangan is coordinated for you, including transfers and ferry connections.

Return transfer to Koh Samui airport for departure, is included. Flights from Koh Samui (USM) are not included, but this is the most common and convenient departure point.

    1. Yes. You can add the Koh Phangan extension after booking the main trip, as long as space is still available.

That said, spots for the extension are limited and may sell out, especially since it overlaps with the Full Moon Party, so if you’re strongly considering it, it’s best to reserve by October.
