About this trip

Enjoy a 5-day retreat. This wellness has so much to offer. We will explore Temples. Visit the local villages, national parks, float down the river, visit the elephant sanctuary and a food tour for those who love to eat!

Your Thailand wellness retreat journey will start in Chiang Mai. Chiang Mai is a superb choice that won’t let you down.

Elephant Jungle Santuary

You'll begin each day with a nutritious breakfast and a wellness activity at your hotel.

After a breakfast and wellness class at your hotel, travel through beautiful Thai landscapes en route to the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary. The Sanctuary team will introduce you to their elephant welfare programs, the natural habitat and behaviors.

Elephants are always searching for food and to satisfy their hunger you will feed them with different kinds of fresh fruits and vegetables. Next, immerse yourself in a mud bath with your new gray friends. After playing with the pachyderms, refresh with a shower and dinner of delicious Thai food, freshly cooked by the team.

River Cruise Adventure

Embark on a relaxing tour to Wat Chai Mongkok Pier to start a cruise of the Mae Ping River by local long-tail boat. This river shows its true rural identity as the city view will be replaced by scenes of wide water and green trees. You will see traditional wooden houses interspersed with modern residences and colorful scenery while witnessing the local lifestyle along the river banks.

On your tour, you'll stop in at a traditional local-style teak wooden house with a vegetable and fruit garden. Agriculture remains Thailand’s largest source of income and here you’ll discover the basic elements-rice, local herbs, fruits, and fishing-all thriving in a chemical-free environment.

Enjoy a locally-prepared lunch and then stop in at a fresh food market to see the abundance of crops grown in this fertile area. From the market, take a 3-wheeled trishaw, in Thailand called a Samlor, along Tapae Road, through the city wall gates into Chiang Mai historical old town, passing ancient Buddhist temples, along Rajdamnern Road to see the Three Kings Monument before having lunch.

I just returned from an incredible trip with Jocelyn Boucher and three other amazing women at the Dominican Treehouse Village in Samana, and I can’t help but feel deeply grateful for the entire experience. This was my second retreat with Jocelyn in two years, and each time it just gets better. The warmth and hospitality of the staff at the Treehouse Village were beyond compare—they made every moment feel special and cared for us like family. From the breathtaking treehouse views to the delicious local cuisine, they thought of every detail, creating a space for true relaxation and connection with nature. Immersing ourselves in the local culture was priceless. Whether learning from the locals, exploring the vibrant landscapes, or enjoying unique excursions, every interaction felt like a gift. If you're seeking a transformative getaway, I can't recommend traveling with Jocelyn enough. Her retreats are a perfect blend of adventure, mindfulness, and community, and this experience is one I’ll never forget. Everyone should book with her and experience the magic!

My experience at the Spark of Light Shamanic Healing Retreat in Tennessee was nothing short of profound. Nestled amidst the serene beauty of Tennessee's landscapes, this retreat offered a perfect blend of spiritual rejuvenation and natural tranquility. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed into a warm and nurturing environment. The schedule was thoughtfully designed, balancing meditation sessions, transformative fire ceremonies, and enriching vegan meals that nourished both body and soul. The hikes through the lush surroundings were invigorating, providing moments of connection with nature that were deeply therapeutic. One of the highlights was the massage session on the side of a mountain in the Shala, where the soothing touch combined with breathtaking views created a truly immersive healing experience. The Cacao ceremony was another standout, guiding us through a journey of introspection and heart-opening connection. Both Jocelyn and the owners from Seven Springs Retreats were knowledgeable and compassionate guides who infused each activity with meaning and intention. Their expertise in shamanic practices added a layer of authenticity and depth to the entire experience, allowing us to explore and heal in ways I had never imagined. I left the Spark of Light Retreat feeling profoundly renewed and inspired. It's a place where healing isn't just a concept but a tangible journey that unfolds with every moment spent in its embrace. Whether you're seeking inner peace, spiritual growth, or simply a reprieve from the hectic pace of life, these retreats that Jocelyn customizes- offers a sanctuary where magic truly happens. I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to have participated in this retreat and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone ready to embark on a transformative journey of healing and self-discovery.
