Thailand’s known for its unrivalled beaches, so forget setting foot on just one. This eight-day tour lets you hop around some of the best beaches along the Andaman Sea, discover the hues of Ko Mook’s Emerald Cave, and snack on some tasty barbecue on the shores of Ko Lanta. Find that sweet spot just for you, whether that means getting your thrills from optional activities like whitewater rafting, or just picking a place where you can hang out and watch the waves.

This trip includes light walking and hiking that is suitable for most fitness levels. There will not be anything too challenging. Activities include, hiking, walking, kayaking, snorkeling, and relaxing on the beach. 

December is one of the best months to visit Thailand with average daily temperatures ranging from mid-70s to 90 degrees F. Perfect weather for spending all day in the water!

All the excursions listed in the itinerary are included. Bring cash/credit cards for purchasing souvenirs, additional snacks/meals, alcoholic drinks, extra activities, and other items. You can either order Thai Baht from your bank at home or use an ATM on arrival in Thailand to get some cash. Exchanging USD to Baht at the airport or at a bank in Thailand not always easy and doesn't give the best exchange rates. 

All gratuities are included with the exception of those for your Chicas Abroad tour leader. Tipping the Chicas Abroad tour leader is optional and not included in the price of your adventure.

Arrive in Bangkok at any time during this day. After settling in, you will get to meet your guides and fellow lady travelers for the next 8 days. We will all enjoy a Welcome Dinner.

After breakfast we will begin moving and grooving with a 1.5 hour flight to Trang followed by a 1 hour ferry to Ko Ngai, a beautiful and quaint beach paradise. There will be no shortage of gorgeous white sand beaches and stunning crystal blue waters. 

In the afternoon you will be set free to relax, snorkel, swim, or all of the above! Enjoy the island vibes on your own schedule.

Today we will explore the pristine waters of Thailand while on a snorkel tour around the Trang Islands. We will see heaps of local marine life and then hop over to Ko Chueak to admire the gorgeous beach scenery. 

The adventure continues when we hop over to the Emerald Cave of Ko Mook. Within the Emerald caves lies a hidden lagoon that can be accessed after an 80 meter swim through the cave. The cave opens up to a crystal blue lagoon surrounded by a mini jungle.

We will start the day with breakfast and then a ferry or longtail boat ride to the secluded island of Ko Lanta. Once arriving on the island we will have free time to explore or relax on the beach. Ko Lanta is considered one of Thailand's most beautiful islands. If you are keen on snorkeling, you are in luck because this island is world renowned for the diving and snorkeling along its coasts. 

In the evening we will enjoy a Beach Barbecue as a group! There will be plenty of delicious local food.

We will start our morning further exploring the stunning island of Ko Lanta. This can include snorkeling, small hikes around the area or just chilling on the beach soaking up some lovely Thai sunshine! 

The rest of the day will be spent on a day trip to the nearby island of Ko Rok. While on the day trip we will be able to snorkel at Ko Rok's national park and trek to a gorgeous view point to enjoy a picnic lunch. Within the national park there are coral reefs that house tropical fish, nudibranchs (colorful sea slugs), sea stars and many other exotic creatures!

Today we will make the trek from Ko Lanta to Ao Nang via private vehicle equipped with A/C. The trip will take 2-3 hours so settle in and enjoy the scenery along the way. 

Ao Nang is a harbor town consisting of a main street with pubs, restaurants and assorted shops. Once in Ao Nang we will explore the island via sea kayaking to get a little exercise while enjoying the scenery. We will also have the opportunity to snorkel once again. The coastal area boats fish, plants and other creatures of every different color!

Climb aboard a speed boat in the morning to traverse the incredible Phi Phi Island Archipelago! We will stop to snorkel at Loh Samah Bay and see if we can spot any wildlife at Monkey Beach. From the boat we will catch stunning views including the iconic Maya Bay which was made famous by the Leonardo DiCaprio film, The Beach. We will also make a stop at Pileh Bay, a glittering lagoon. This is a great place for swimming and exploring as it is secluded by towering limestone cliffs. By this time you will have built up an appetite so we will head to Phi Phi Don for a buffet lunch. On the way there we will also catch a view of Viking Cave. Before ending the trip we will make one last stop on Bamboo Island where you have the options of snorkeling or relaxing on the white sand beach.

This morning we will transfer to Krabi airport and then catch a 1.5 hour flight back to Bangkok. Once in Bangkok we will provide transportation to the airport where we will say goodbye. Please make sure you do not book your departure flight any earlier than 3:00 pm on December 12th to ensure we have ample time to get to the airport.
