Today, we will drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. On the way, you can enjoy the greenery around you and the beautiful hills. What attracts most visitors to Pokhara is the richness of the valley with its pure and natural beauty. Just imagine the joy of observing the majestic Himalayas, reflecting its shadow on Fewa Lake and the cleanness of Pokhara city. The Pokhara valley is equally outstanding, giving as they do elevate close-ups to the snowy peaks. Pokhara is famous for sightseeing, mountain views, and many adventurous outdoor activities. We will visit David’s Waterfall, Gupteswor Mahadev, International Mountain Museum, which are the major attraction for sightseeing in Pokhara.

We drive for around 1 hour to reach Nayapul, where we will start our trek. Upon reaching Birethanti, we trek uphill on the trail to Ghandruk, passing through beautiful villages/settlements. We cross the suspension bridge over Khumnu Khola and finally reach Ghandruk. A supreme vantage point in this pristine & serene village offers breathtaking views of Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, Machhapuchhre, and Hiunchuli. Several hotels and teahouses in the village give us a warm welcome with sincere Nepalese hospitality while catering to the requirements of all trekkers' who hit the trail through this village. Camping in its terraced fields gives you open, wild feelings of adventure.

We climb up to Ghandruk and then descend to the Kimron Khola. After another steep ascent from Kimron Khola, we walk about an hour to take a steep climb continuing up to Chhomrong - a beautiful village located on the lap of the Annapurna massive.

We move along Modi Khola and cross a suspension bridge over Chhomrong Khola and reach Sinuwa and pass through a thick rhododendron forest up to Khuldighar. Then we reach Dobhan.

On this day, we walk through the Himalaya hotel and Hinku Cave before reaching Deurali. The short trek allows us to acclimatize to the high altitude and prepare for the next day’s trip.

Walk to Machhapuchhre Base Camp is somehow tough, but the views it offers are worth it.

This is the day set aside for acclimatization. We will have a day here for acclimatization. Health experts recommend that you stay active and move around even during the rest day instead of being idle.

The trail from the glacier takes us to the base camp of Annapurna South. Anyway, we move straight and pass through the bridge and continue until reaching the Cave camp.
