About this trip

Tacos are loved everywhere by many cultures and I love that idea, Neverthe less I alwayslike to explain to my guests that they are usually a bit misunderstood.  While, in the rest of the world, they are usually considered a dish (and in many bad cases they're considered fast food), for us Mexicans, tacos are more a way of eating, and I dare to say, a way of living.

This 3 hour walk is designed to take you on a delicious and cultural walk around the historic center of Mexico City where you'll try around 6 to 8 different kinds of street tacos in some of the most world-widely renowned spots and some other of my own personal choice.  When you leave, I hope you've not only tried some amazing dishes but also learned a lot about Mexican culture and it's connection with food, a reason why Mexican Cuisine is considered and Intangible World Heritage by UNESCO.

Personal experiences with a heart. I graduated from film school in 2008 and I’ve worked as a freelance photographer and videographer ever since. I’ve done a lot of work as a video journalist. That’s helped me develop a special interest in documenting daily life as a way of understanding my culture better. I often wander through little-known corners of the city looking for magic moments to catch with my camera. Paralel to being a freelance video produced and an editor, I started doing tours about two years ago, first as a hobbie to my foreign friends, then I realized I loved it and started doing it profesionally. I love meeting new people from different culture and exchage mutual knowledge to expand both of our worlds.
