Tacos are loved everywhere by many cultures and I love that idea, Neverthe less I alwayslike to explain to my guests that they are usually a bit misunderstood. While, in the rest of the world, they are usually considered a dish (and in many bad cases they're considered fast food), for us Mexicans, tacos are more a way of eating, and I dare to say, a way of living.
This 3 hour walk is designed to take you on a delicious and cultural walk around the historic center of Mexico City where you'll try around 6 to 8 different kinds of street tacos in some of the most world-widely renowned spots and some other of my own personal choice. When you leave, I hope you've not only tried some amazing dishes but also learned a lot about Mexican culture and it's connection with food, a reason why Mexican Cuisine is considered and Intangible World Heritage by UNESCO.
