Going on retreat offers an opportunity to let down the stresses of life, to be nourished by the north woods, and deepen your yoga, meditation, and pranayama practices. In this retreat you will learn Ayurvedic self-care rituals as well as lifestyle and practice recommendations to align harmoniously with the season, so your health and well-being may flourish.
The Christine Center, 3 hours northwest from Madison, is nestled in the tranquil woods of northern Wisconsin on 125 acres, offering a nurturing and supportive environment for deepening practice and connection. The retreat center is run by a group of Franciscan nuns and for 30 years has been a center open to all paths of faith and spirituality.
(10-hours of continuing education are available for Yoga Alliance registered teachers)
The retreat package includes two nights stay at the Christine Center, all Ayurveda, yoga & meditation classes and 7 vegetarian meals.

TRAVEL + ARRIVAL INFORMATION Please plan to arrive at The Christine Center between 3:30-6:45 pm on Friday. A welcome dinner is served at 5:30 pm and the first class begins on at 7 pm. On Sunday class ends at noon followed by a departure lunch at 12:30 pm. If you would like to also stay Sunday night, additional reservations can be made through the Christine Center.
The Christine Center is nestled on 125 acres of tranquil woodlands in north central Wisconsin, located at W8303 Mann Road in Willard. Traveling by car is about a 2.5-3 hour drive from Madison.
To protect the safety of all participants, individuals will not be matched with roommates. If you are attending the retreat on your own, please reserve a single occupancy accommodation. You may choose a double or triple occupancy if you are attending the retreat with a family member or friend.
Prior to registering for the retreat, please read The Christine Center's Health & Safety Protocol. Throughout the retreat social distancing of 6 feet will be practiced and masks will be required to be worn by staff, teachers and participants. While within the main building noble silence will be practiced while conversations will be encouraged outdoors.
Participants must bring their own yoga mat, yoga strap and meditation cushion. While practicing on one's yoga mat, masks are optional though must be worn when stepping off the mat.
It is recommended, though not required, to obtain a Covid-19 test the week or two prior to the retreat. If it is deemed unsafe to hold the retreat in-person, the retreat will be held online at a discounted rate with the option for a full refund if you choose.

A private guest room with a shared onsite bathroom with 2-4 other guests. There are rooms reserved for female guests in the home where the sisters of the Christine Center also live as well as rooms in a separate house reserved for men.
