The Art of the Journey is an eight-day women's voyage through the Ionian Sea, created for women who want to explore, swim, connect and experience Greece from the water, while perhaps rediscovering a little of themselves along the way.

Inspired by the idea that the journey can be every bit as meaningful as the destination, we'll sail from Athens through the Corinth Canal and into the brilliant blue waters of the Ionian, exploring some of Greece's most beautiful islands. But this is not a cruise designed simply to carry us from one port to the next. The sea itself is part of the experience.

Expect swim stops in secluded coves, dives from the ship into impossibly clear water, afternoons exploring colorful harbor towns, island walks, long lunches, sunset cocktails and plenty of time simply enjoying life aboard. Some days will take us ashore to wander and discover. Others will remind us that sometimes the best place to be is exactly where we are, floating somewhere between one island and the next.

Our route takes us through Zakynthos, Kefalonia, Paxos, Antipaxos and Corfu, before we turn south toward the symbolic heart of our journey: Ithaca.

Ithaca is almost always introduced as the island of Odysseus. But perhaps, for this journey, we should call it Penelope's island. While Odysseus sailed the seas and became the hero of one of history's greatest adventures, Penelope remained in Ithaca. For twenty years, she held her ground. She protected her home, raised her son, outwitted the men who sought to replace her husband and ruled in the midst of uncertainty. Her strength was quieter than the battles and monsters of the Odyssey, but no less formidable.

For a ship filled with women, there is something particularly meaningful about arriving in Ithaca and considering both sides of the journey: the courage it takes to venture out into the unknown, and the strength it sometimes takes to stand your ground.

Our final full day brings us to the picturesque harbor town of Galaxidi and onward to Delphi, one of the ancient world's most important sacred sites. After a week of looking outward toward islands, horizons and whatever lies beyond the next stretch of blue, Delphi gives us an opportunity to turn inward, toward the ancient invitation to "know thyself."

This is a women's escape for those who want to swim, sail, explore, laugh, discover and connect, without racing through a checklist of destinations. It is about lingering a little longer in the water, following our curiosity ashore, sharing stories over dinner, and remembering that we don't always need to be in a hurry to arrive.

July 16 | And So the Journey Begins

Marina Zeas → Corinth Canal

Welcome aboard. We'll settle into our home at sea before departing Marina Zeas at 4:00 PM and beginning our journey west. Around 7:00 PM, cocktails in hand, we'll pass through the dramatic walls of the Corinth Canal as the sun begins to set. Our first evening aboard is about meeting one another, settling into the rhythm of the sea and raising a glass to the journey ahead.

July 17 | Zakynthos: Into the Blue

Zakynthos + Swimming + Exploration

Our first full day introduces us to the dazzling blues of the Ionian as we sail toward Zakynthos, one of Greece's most spectacular islands. We'll have time for our first swim before arriving around 11:00 AM, leaving the rest of the day to explore its dramatic coastline, beautiful beaches and intensely blue waters.

Zakynthos is also one of the Mediterranean's most important nesting grounds for the endangered Caretta caretta loggerhead sea turtle. Keep your eyes on the water throughout the day because, with a little luck, we may even spot one of these beautiful creatures swimming in its natural habitat.

It's the perfect introduction to the Ionian: wild beauty, warm seas, a little exploration and our first taste of island time.

July 18 | Kefalonia: A Taste of the Island

Swim Stop + Kefalonia + Robola Wine

We'll begin with time in the water before spending approximately half a day exploring Kefalonia. While this isn't our wine-focused escape, we're not going to sail past one of Greece's distinctive wine regions without tasting it. Our plans will likely include a visit to a local winery to discover Robola, the crisp white wine for which Kefalonia is famous, before returning to our ship and continuing north.

July 19 | Paxos & Antipaxos: Just Add Water

Secluded Coves + Turquoise Waters + Paxos by Night

Today, the water is the destination.

We'll spend much of the day sailing between Paxos and Antipaxos, dropping anchor at secluded coves and swimming in some of the clearest turquoise water of the Ionian. No need to over-program this one. Bring a swimsuit, sunscreen and very little ambition beyond jumping in.

As evening arrives, we'll trade swimsuits for something a little more fabulous and head ashore to enjoy a free night in the coastal town of Paxos. For anyone who still has energy after a day in the water, we'll offer an optional night out for drinks and dancing.

July 20 | Corfu: From Sea to City

Morning Swim + Kerkyra Exploration

We'll start the morning the best way we know how: anchored somewhere beautiful for an early swim.

Later, we'll arrive in Corfu (Kerkyra) for a half-day of exploration. Elegant, historic and unmistakably different from the smaller islands we've visited, Corfu brings together Greek and Venetian influences, beautiful architecture, lively streets and centuries of history. Wander, shop, explore, find a café and enjoy having nowhere you particularly need to rush.

July 21 | Ithaca: Penelope's Island

Swimming + Connection + Retreat Day + Free Evening

Our journey turns south toward Ithaca, the symbolic heart of our retreat.

Today isn't about seeing everything. It's about being here.

We'll swim, slow down and spend meaningful time together through guided connection activities and retreat exercises inspired by the journey we've shared and the women we've met along the way.

And on an island so often remembered for the man who left it, we'll make some room for the woman who remained. Penelope's patience, ingenuity, resilience and quiet strength give us another way to think about what it means to make a journey of our own.

The evening is completely free, yours to wander, have dinner, sit by the water or simply enjoy Ithaca at your own pace.

uly 22 | Galaxidi & Delphi: Ask the Oracle

Galaxidi + Delphi + The Oracle + Manifest Release

Our final full day takes us into another chapter of ancient Greece. We'll arrive in the picturesque maritime town of Galaxidi before traveling inland toward Delphi, once believed to be the center of the world and home to the legendary Oracle of Delphi.

We'll explore the archaeological site and its extraordinary setting on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, while reflecting on the ancient Delphic invitation to “Know Thyself.”

And here, near the end of our own journey, we'll take part in a special manifest-release ritual, letting go of the intentions, thoughts, fears, hopes or promises we've carried with us through the week and making space for whatever comes next.

July 23 | The Return

Back to Marina Zeas

One final morning together at sea as we complete our voyage and return to Marina Zeas.

Eight days after setting out, we'll arrive back where we started. Same port. Same city.

Different journey. And perhaps, in some small way, different women.
