Imagine... a luxury beachfront, jungle surrounded villa, warm water, sunny days, fresh fruit, challenging daily workouts, exciting adventures, 1-on-1 body work sessions, delicious margaritas and endless good times. Got it? You have just pictured yourself at The Balanced Experience.

Why?

This retreat is designed to make you feel good. It is a lovechild of our undying love of travel and a passion for health and fitness. We want to make every person feel their best through bodywork, exercise, self care sessions, adventure, education, and being surrounded other like minded individuals. Our goal is to make sure you feel better when you leave than when you arrived, not only physically, but mentally and spiritually as well. We guarantee you will feel relaxed, revitalized, inspired, and healthier. You are going to eat incredible food, detox digitally, move freely, de-stress and meet other incredible people. The retreat will have structure without being constrained and allow everyone to push their boundaries without forcing themselves completely outside of their comfort zone. We will eat delicious and healthy vegan food, while perhaps indulging in a few Mexican treats or cocktails. The perfect blend of BALANCE. 


A typical day in the life during The Balanced Experience would start around 8am with a quick but effective HIIT workout on the pool deck or beach, follow by poolside fresh pressed juice and an organic breakfast. Next, we will pack our things and head out on a local adventure such as surf lessons, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking or hiking. Most afternoons will be free time where you can explore town, have some down time on the beach or choose your own adventure. We will reconvene in the late afternoon or early evening for some poolside, sunset yoga or self care like foam rolling or stretching. From there we will enjoy fantastic local vegan cuisine prepared in house daily by a local chef with perhaps a cheeky poolside cocktail or two.

Danielle is a physiotherapist from North Vancouver Canada with a passion for health, fitness, and TRAVEL. She is a fitness instructor and the founder of The Balanced Collective, an online health, balance and wellness site and developed The Balanced Experience as a combination of all of her passions.
