Day 1: Departure from Coca to Tierras Orientales. Enjoy lunch before embarking on a motorized canoe ride along the Aguarico River. Arrive at Cuyabeno Kichwa Lodge for a short rest in hammocks. Experience a night walk through the jungle. Dinner at the Lodge with a warm welcome from our guide.
Day 2: Set out on a canoe ride to observe birds, monkeys, pink dolphins, and anacondas. After breakfast, take a jungle walk to learn about the survival strategies and medicinal plants used by our Kichwa ancestors. Enjoy lunch before navigating upriver in search of more wildlife, including birds and pink dolphins. Return in the evening for a nocturnal exploration of caimans, snakes, owls, and more. Dinner at the Lodge.
Day 3: Start with breakfast before visiting the Cofan community, where Cofan tribe guides will join us to share their culture. They will present handcrafted items made from palm fibers and jungle seeds. After lunch, hike through trails and cross the Sábalo River, engaging in birdwatching and spotting monkeys, otters, and caimans throughout the day. Return to the lodge in the evening to discuss the experience with the community.
Day 4: Return to Coca.
