 Visiting the National Museum of African American History is a journey of discovery from slavery through the modern day. It begins with the inhumane treatment of hundreds of years of stealing and selling Africans to build the wealth of a nation that had no intention of including them as human beings, let alone as citizens or equals. The museum ends with a celebration of African American resilience and heritage. Through thought-provoking exhibits and compelling narratives, it highlights the rich contributions and struggles of African Americans throughout this country's history. Day #4 aboard our motor coach will be time for profound reflection and contemplation.
