Do you want to love the body you’re in and feel like your most radiant self? You'll leave this five-day retreat feeling rejuvenated and self-confident. If you’re ready to relax and recharge while learning to embrace the body you have and connect with a group of women learning to do the same, then keep on reading!
Kate and Liz want to give you hands on tools and techniques to reframe your relationship with food and strengthen your body image resiliency.
You’ll walk away from this retreat with knowledge and practical application for body acceptance as well as a community of like-minded women. Through a private Facebook group, you’ll connect with the women before and stay in touch after so that you can offer encouragement as you continue on your journey on the months following the retreat.
Meals will be catered by local restaurants Humo and Raw Love Cafe to be shared at our villa. Breakfast will include seasonal fruits and organic eggs.
Lunch and dinner will be full of fresh, Mexican savory foods including tacos, salads, ceviches, and grilled dishes.
The retreat will not promote any specific diet as we are encouraging and exploring intuitive eating for our time together. However, we are happy to cater to food allergies or dietary preferences upon request. (Humo does offer gluten-free and plant-based options).
We will also have an excursion out to eat at a different local restaurant (more details to come) as well as a community dinner where we will cook together in the villa.
Group activities will include exploring the Mayan Ruins, cooling off and sunbathing in the natural Cenotes (natural swimming holes), a private workout at the world famous Jungle Gym led by Kate, and a women's circle on a beach-side water tower--where we will set intentions together for the upcoming month.
We will also have workshops centered around building body image resiliency in your everyday life and intuitive eating.
Kate
Kate is a body positive personal trainer and eating psychology coach who empowers women to be the best versions of themselves through coaching and retreats. After being hospitalized for anorexia at age 14 followed by a decade of trying every diet and workout plan imaginable, she finally decided to make peace with her body once and for all.
Kate spent several years in Cambodia and Thailand before settling down in San Francisco, where she continues to help other women realize their full potential in a loving, nourishing way. She’ll be leading body confidence workshops and group fitness classes throughout the retreat.
Liz
Liz is a trained herbalist, yoga instructor, and Nutritional Therapy Practitioner from Austin, Texas. Her journey started at the age of 11 when she started dieting and experiencing severe depression. Since then, she’s found natural ways to support her mind and body.
She’s learned to become empowered as her own healer — and wants to help other women do the same. Liz will be guiding the group through intuitive herbalism, vinyasa yoga flows, and gentle nutrition guidance.
