You've done so much inner work. Now it's time to live life.
You've spent years getting to know yourself ,through therapy, meditation, spiritual practice, retreat after retreat. You've understood your patterns. You've met the parts of you that were hurting. You've changed because of it.
But something else is stirring now. Not another journey into what went wrong in the past but a pull forward. Toward travel. Exploration. Risk. Toward saying yes to something you'd once have talked yourself out of.
The next chapter of your life isn't waiting to be healed into existence. It's waiting to be lived.
This isn't the easiest retreat to say yes to. Cambodia is a long way from home , flights to book, plans to make, and maybe the protective voice telling you to wait. Maybe another time. Maybe when things settle. Maybe when I feel more ready.
But how much of life do we postpone waiting for certainty?
For one week, we'll leave ordinary life behind and meet together through Cambodia ,the temples of Angkor, the mountains and waterfalls of Phnom Kulen, the ancient craft of Cambodian silk-making, with plenty of space to rest, and to ask the questions that matter.
What's calling me now? What's natural to me beneath all the roles I've learned to play? What am I ready to leave behind ,and what's the first step toward the life I actually want?
This is a discovery of who you're becoming. The door is already open. This is about walking through it.
Cambodia gets under your skin. The warmth and generosity of its people. Food shared around long tables. The tropical heat, the rice fields. And then, of course, there's Angkor.
For centuries these temples have stood in the forests of northern Cambodia ,ancient faces emerging from the stone at Bayon, huge trees swallowing the ruins of Ta Prohm, the sheer scale and beauty of Angkor Wat itself.
But Cambodia is more than somewhere to visit. It's somewhere to experience. We'll go beyond the temples too, into the mountains and jungle of Phnom Kulen, swimming beneath waterfalls, visiting sacred sites, catching the quieter rhythms of Cambodian life.
And in between it all, there's time. To return to the guesthouse. To swim in the pool. To eat together, wander, rest , to sit under the tropical sky and remember that life can be bigger than the routines you've grown used to.
Cambodia is a long way from home. Sometimes that's exactly what makes a journey worth taking , stepping outside the familiar long enough to remember how much life there still is to explore.
Three private 1:1 sessions with James carry this experience past the week itself, beginning before you land in Cambodia, and continuing after you're home.
Before Cambodia. A private session to explore where you are now, what you're leaving behind, and what feels ready to open or change.
During the Retreat. A dedicated 1:1 with James mid-journey. Space to pause and go deeper into whatever's arising.
After You Return. A final session once you're home. Because the real question isn't just what happens in Cambodia ,it's what you do with what you've found when you're back in your life.
These three sessions run a single thread through the whole journey: before, during, after.
Your private room in a beautiful small boutique hotel surrounded by tropical gardens and rice fields. A peaceful sanctuary to swim, relax, connect and unwind between adventures.

Introduction to the journey
Our first full day takes us into the heart of Angkor.
We'll begin early to experience the temples before the biggest crowds arrive.
The Masks We Wear
The enormous faces of Bayon invite us to explore the identities and roles we have developed throughout our lives.
Returning to Nature
From the faces of Bayon we move into the jungle of Ta Prohm.
Here the trees have grown through and around the ancient temple.
A chance to ask:
What is natural to me beneath everything I thought I had to be?
The Calling
We finish at Angkor Wat.
The question now changes.
Not:
Who have I been?
But:
What is calling me forward?
We'll return to the retreat base for lunch and a completely free afternoon.
No temple tour.
No packed schedule.
Today belongs to you.
Sleep late.
Swim.
Read.
Have a massage.
Explore Siem Reap.
Sit in the gardens.
Talk with the group.
Or disappear into your room.
We'll have an optional gentle practice and gathering, but there is no expectation to participate.
Sometimes the most transformational thing you can do is stop trying to transform yourself.
Today we leave the the town and temples behind and travel into the mountains and jungle of Phnom Kulen.
We'll visit the sacred River of 1,000 Lingas and the reclining Buddha of Preah Ang Thom before spending time at the spectacular Kulen waterfall.
This day explores a different aspect of stepping into a new chapter:
The willingness to choose.
The courage to act.
The ability to surrender to what we cannot control.
And at the waterfall?
Swim.
Play.
Enjoy!
Visit a beautiful Cambodian lotus silk farm and discover how delicate silk is created from the stems of lotus flowers.
The lotus offers a beautiful metaphor for our own journey: rooted in the mud, reaching towards the light.
We'll explore what we're rooted in, what we're growing towards, and what we're ready to create next.
Then back to the hotel for a relaxed afternoon by the pool.
Our final afternoon takes us to Preah Palilay, a small and atmospheric temple hidden among the trees of Angkor Thom.
After the scale and grandeur of Angkor, we end somewhere quieter.
A place to pause.
To reflect.
And to acknowledge the journey you've made.
Then we leave the temples behind and head into Siem Reap for sunset by the river and a beautiful final Cambodian dinner together.
A celebration of the week ,and of whatever comes next.
A relaxed final breakfast before departures from midday.
The retreat ends.
But the journey doesn't.
You return home with the experiences, insights and choices you've made, and, one clear first step into the chapter ahead and a way to carry it forward.
