Another awesome trip with this company. Nate and Brittany did a fantastic job leading us. The bike tour in Naples was fun but the cooking class the last night was the best. Thanks!!!

We had an amazing time! Our tour guides were so professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They helped us navigate the cities on our own and book some travel on site. The trips were very well planned out; packed itinerary, plenty of views, and experiences yielding memories that will truly last a lifetime.

The experience that was marketed to us was not what we received. We are VERY disappointed in the overall trip. It felt thrown together last minute with large itinerary changes. We originally were supposed to be in Rome only one night and outside of Venice for 3 nights, and it flip flopped. And to top it off the group is no longer doing a NYE dinner. You left everyone in a lurch… scrambling to find dinner locations. This was not a tournament it was a game between one team on all three days. It should not have been communicated as a tournament. Second, the food was not very good and an the second day we didn’t eat till 10pm. The best food was in Prato on 12/29. Third, the hotels…. For us at Hotel Milton we had running water all night in the ceiling above the room, and water damage in our bathroom ceiling. Hotel Datini had clean rooms, but not in a good area. My 11 old son was tired and we opted not to go to dinner/tournament with the group because the game was going to start very late. At 9pm. There was no where to go to dinner. We walked to a Speedy Pizza (the only restaurant within walking distance) in the rain to find out it was closed. Why didn’t we actually stay in Prato? We stayed next to a car dealership. This is not what we payed for! 12/30: Bus needed permit for Florence; so we had to take the train. However, it was so crowded and standing room only on the way into Florence. Just too come find out that on 12/31 the same problem. The bus does not have a permit to go onto Venice. Why didn’t the company hire a bus company that has the appropriate permits? Bus had to bail on 12/30 and everyone had to take taxis home (10:41pm) after an exhausting day…. On 12/31 we were supposed to have a group dinner in Venice, however, it was changed last minute to a group lunch and the group wasn't able to enjoy the fireworks in Venice on NYE because the train stopped operating after 11pm. This was also marketed to us as a tournament. We played two small clubs. For the first club we had to travel 2 hours by bus both ways. It should not have been communicated as a tournament. Our guides Naomi and Shamir were very nice and tried their best, however, you could tell they were not familiar with Italy and didn't have any connections with any of the hotels or restaurants. I doubt I would ever do this ever again. Awful experience and not at all the experience we expected based on how much we paid. - John & Sandra Kompaniez
