Join The CORE as we experience the rhythm of Rio de Janeiro. Samba through the night and explore the sensation of the sun and sand on the world famous Copacabana Beach just steps away from our 5 star hotel. We'll take a deep dive into the culture of one of South America's greatest jewels and be immersed in the culture of our Brazilian brothers and sisters.

Today we're heading to experience one Rio's most iconic landmarks and on of the 7 Wonders of the World, Christ the Redeemer. Later we'll take in the breathtaking views of Rio before arriving at the colorful tiles of Escadaria Selarón, one of Rio's main attractions.

Exploring the Vibrant History and Sights
Today's walking tour we'll explore the city and hear about the history of Africans in Rio. Learn the legacy of how everything from carnival to samba, food, music, and architecture derived. After lunch, we'll explore the city and learn more about its' history and the beautiful art.

I had a great time! The Core always picks the best tour guides, who are very courteous and extremely knowledgeable of their culture. The food in Peru’s restaurants was outstanding. Seeing the historical Machu Picchu was a ‘bucket list’ activity, for me. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I’m so blessed and glad that I went.

I had an absolutely wonderful time, with great accomodations and fantastic food. The excursions were second to none. Especially the Peruvian cooking class and history tours of Lima, Cuscos and Machu Pichu. Tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and provided in-depth information on each tour.

Thank you for the fantastic experience. The Nov 2023 trip to Peru 🇵🇪 was outstanding the food, the tour guides and the locations were perfect. I posted the pictures on Facebook and one of the first comments from a classmate was, “The place we read about in Jr. High school..” the pictures really didn’t it justice. Waiting in my next CORE travel experience.
