I had an extraordinary trip to Southern Iceland with Project Por Amor. All of the details of the trip were finely thought out to provide an exceptional experience. I greatly appreciated the intimate experiences of visiting artist studios and homes for conversation, viewing visual art and listening to musical performances. The landscape sights the group visited were amazing and otherworldly as well.

There are barely enough superlatives to describe how special Sage’s Por Amor tours are. We have now done both Cuba and Iceland with him as tour organizer and guide. Each is made special by the personal connections that Sage has built with local musicians, artists and others whom Sage introduced us to.. Food is excellent, hotels are clean and comfortable and sometimes luxurious Sage goes out of his way to ensure that everything works for everyone. And if our two experiences are typical, his groups are composed of the nicest most interesting people. Five stars are not enough to indicate how special both the Iceland and Cuba trips are.

It is a real pleasure to travel with Sage Lewis, who is always friendly and helpful. He organizes trips to make sure that we meet local people and learn as much as possible about life and customs of the places we are visiting. This is my third trip with him.
