Three days on five private acres in the high desert, built around one person. No group, no class schedule, no one else on the property. Just you, or you and the people you bring.
Most people who book this have been running too hard for too long. Founders, executives, professionals who hold a lot together and have started to feel it in the body: sleep that doesn't restore, a mind that won't shut off, tension a weekend off no longer touches. Three days is enough time for that to actually settle.
The work is hands-on and specific. Fascia release, lymphatic bodywork, breathwork, Qigong and Tai Chi-based movement, sound sessions, and long stretches of quiet. I've been doing this for thirty years, so the method is set, fascia, breath, circulation, nervous system, and the sequence gets built around what your body is doing when you arrive.
You'll stay in the primary suite at Mystic Sky Ranch, with the ranch house, the studio, the sauna, the hot tub, and the cowboy tub yours for the three days. Meals are whole food, cooked on site. Afternoons open up for walks on the land, and the nights out here are dark enough to see the Milky Way.
You'll leave with the Coherent Body Morning Reset, a short daily practice you can keep doing at home, so what you find here doesn't stay here.
Two nights. Check-in 12:00 PM, check-out 12:00 PM. $4,800 per person.

12:00 PM — Arrival
You'll get settled, then we'll sit down and talk about where you are, what's been going on in your body, and what you want out of these three days. What I hear shapes everything that follows.
1:15 PM — Lunch
Whole food, cooked here. An easy way to land before anything starts.
2:15 PM — Sauna, hot tub, and cowboy tub
Heat and water first. Your body opens up, and the hands-on work goes deeper when it isn't cold and braced.
3:00 PM — Bodywork, 60 minutes
First hands-on session. Fascia release and lymphatic work, and a read on what your body is actually doing.
4:15 PM — Sound session
Sound and vibration, lying down, with nothing asked of you. Most people drop further here than they expect to on a first afternoon.
5:30 PM — Sunset movement on the land
Qigong-based movement and time barefoot on open ground, in the best light of the day.
7:00 PM — Dinner
8:00 PM — Under the stars
The hot tub, the hammocks, or a fire. No light pollution out here, so the Milky Way is just there.
7:00 AM — Water, tea, or coffee
A slow start. Nothing required of you yet.
7:30 AM — The Coherent Body Morning Reset
The short daily practice you'll take home. We do it here every morning until it's yours, not something you have to remember.
8:30 AM — Sunrise walk with breathwork
Out on the land or into the park, easy or moderate, your call. Qigong-based movement and breathwork in the cool part of the day.
10:30 AM — Breakfast
11:30 AM — Movement and mobility
Working the joints, fascia, and circulation. Not a workout in the gym sense, just the kind of movement that keeps a body capable over decades.
12:15 PM — Sauna, hot tub, and cowboy tub
Heat and water again, this time before the longest hands-on session of the retreat.
1:30 PM — Bodywork, two hours
The core of the day. Fascia release and lymphatic work, guided by what I found in your body yesterday. This is the session people remember.
3:45 PM — Light lunch or quiet time
Eat, sleep, read, or sit and do nothing. Day 2 afternoon is usually when the nervous system finally drops.
4:30 PM — Sunset movement on the land
Movement and time barefoot on open ground, in the last light.
6:30 PM — Dinner
8:00 PM — Under the stars
7:00 AM — Water, tea, or coffee
7:30 AM — The Coherent Body Morning Reset
Last run through the practice, this time with you leading it and me watching. If it's going to survive the drive home, you have to be able to do it without me.
8:15 AM — Bodywork, 60 minutes
Last hands-on session, and the one that tends to land differently now that your body has had two days to drop.
9:15 AM — Sauna and breathwork
One more round of heat, then breathwork to finish.
10:00 AM — Sound session
Lying down, nothing asked of you, before the day gets practical again.
10:45 AM — Brunch and the closing conversation
What changed over three days, what you noticed in your body, and what to keep doing once you're back. The specifics of your week, your sleep, your travel, your work.
12:00 PM — Check-out
These times are the shape of a typical retreat, not a fixed schedule. Days get built around what your body needs and what the weather is doing.
I've spent more than thirty years working with the body: Qigong, Tai Chi, fascia-based movement, lymphatic bodywork, and nervous system regulation. Camp Vortex is where that work happens now, on five private acres of high desert at Mystic Sky Ranch near Joshua Tree. One to three guests at a time, never a group. Most people who come here are founders, executives, and professionals who have been holding a lot together for a long time and can feel it in the body. The work isn't about fixing anyone. It's about understanding what your body has been telling you, and going home with practices you'll actually use.
