From May 22 to 29, 2027, in Nosara, Costa Rica, we begin the first retreat in a new seven-year, seven-retreat series called: The Double Helix

If The Eightfold Path was an ascent through practice, meditation, absorption, and realization, The Double Helix is the return journey: the threading of that realization back through the body, back through the centers, back through the living architecture of who we are.

Across seven years, we move through two strands together:

• The seven bodies: physical, energetic, mental, witness, bliss, soul, consciousness

• The seven centers: root, sacral, solar, heart, throat, third eye, crown

Like the two strands of DNA, these sequences wind together, informing, refining, and awakening one another. Each year, one center and one body are paired, allowing us to enter that layer of being with depth, care, precision, and devotion.

This annual retreat is where what you know becomes what you live..

Year One

Physical Body and Root Center

The Double Helix: ORIGIN

We begin at the foundation — the physical body and the root center. The place of grounding, belonging, survival, trust, structure, and our most immediate relationship to simply being here.

Year one is about restoring the foundation. Rebuilding trust in the body. Reawakening intelligence at the base of the system so that everything above it can come alive in a more stable and integrated way.

All offerings are accessible to both seasoned practitioners and those new to the path.

After the close of The Eightfold Path, our eight-year walk through the eight limbs of yoga, I stayed for two days on the land at Menla after everyone had left. I needed to integrate the profundity of what we had each accomplished individually and as a community.

To sit alone on that land after what we had just created was deeply moving. To imagine each of us re-entering the everyday having gone to such depths, to sense each person turning the page to the next chapter of their lives. It was a special moment.

Amid the decompression, I let one question simmer:

What next?

What came through was the most beautiful architecture, and the guidance was decisively clear:

Two Sevens over Seven Years

When I asked what the two sevens represented, I saw a clear image of an iridescent double helix spiraling upward, and heard the words:

The Double Helix. DNA Activation. Take the samādhi state down to the root, then work your way up the energy centers, threading samādhi from the base to the crown. One center at a time. One body at a time.

Having experienced the INSIGHT offering, you may know it is rooted in three pillars: the diagnostic framework we use to support the initiation, liberation, and integration of the body, mind, heart, spirit, and soul.

The Double Helix is built on two of them:

Seven Bodies.
Seven Centers.
Seven Retreats.

One living spiral.

And now, a new arc begins.

Each housing option is currently set to only require a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. Followed by monthly payments beginning in August 2026 - but this can be adjusted and customized.

CANCELATION POLICY

Cancelations before January 15th, 2027:

Will be refundable minus the deposit.

Cancelations after January 15th: All money rendered is forfeited.

If there is another student you would like to gift your space to - it can be transferred to another student upon approval by Kevin and Nico.

No refunds or other accommodations will be given due to the preparation and planning this retreat and location require.

If you cancel late because of illness, family matters, or world events, this is the only way to be covered financially. It is worth it!
