Have a filling breakfast at your Cairo hotel and meet at 8AM to go to the Giza Plateau. Visit one of the seven wonders of the Ancient World: the Giza Pyramid Complex is vibrant with history and magic. Wonder at the Great Pyramid of Cheops, Pyramid of Chepren and the Pyramid of Menkaure with its valley temple, and overlook the valley by the Great Sphinx. You’ll have the chance to explores these amazing structures from within (optional activity) and later enjoy a scrumptious lunch at a good quality local restaurant. After a day of amazing views, we’ll go back to the hotel where you’ll spend the night.

This mythical city has been the home of Emperors and Pharaohs for thousands of years! We’ll board our Egypt Nile cruise and enjoy a delicious lunch on board, overlooking the longest river in the world.

After breakfast overlooking the Nile, you’ll go on an excursion to the mythical Valley of the Kings. This impressive monumental complex is the eternal resting place of 62 ancient Pharaohs and hundreds powerful nobles of Ancient Egypt. Visit the mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut built in 1500 BCE: this masterpiece of ancient architecture is full of altars, shrines and halls waiting to be explored. Afterwards, we’ll head to the Colossi of Memnon to find these two statues guarding the city. As an optional activity, you can also visit Tutankhamun’s tomb (entrance fee not included). After lunch we’ll sail via Edfu, enjoying a leisurely dinner on the cruise where we’ll spend the night

After breakfast on the cruise, we’ll visit the Temple of Edfu. This well-preserved monument from the Ptolemaic Kingdom was dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed God. After some exploring, we’ll sail to Kom Ombo to get to know the unique Temple of Sobek, where ancient Egyptians honored both Sobek and Horus.

After exploring the secrets of these mythical places, we’ll hop on the cruise again to continue our journey to Aswan. A delicious dinner will be served on board.

Start with the High Dam and the largest known ancient obelisk, located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt, the Unfinished Obelisk, proceeding to the beautiful Temple of Philae, which is devoted to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor.Also, a visit to the Nubian Museum and the Nubian Village (the other side of Movenpick are included). After breakfast, we’ll say goodbye to the Nile Cruise and go on a day trip to Abu Simbel by land. You’ll take a private shuttle with AC that will take you to Abu Simbel, where we’ll explore the Great Temple of Ramses II and the small Temple of Hathor and Nefertari. These ancient structures have an amazing history: discovered in 1813, the UNESCO and the Egyptian government moved them in the 1960s to keep them safe from the construction of a dam. Wonder at these amazing monuments and explore the life of Ramses II and his favorite wife Queen Nefertari. After the visit you’ll take the shuttle back to Aswan and transfer to the airport to take a flight to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo.

This was an amazing experience! Our South African trip guide, Mr. Prinsloo, was amazing. The group facilitator, Simone, was also great. The locations we visited, the amount of free time provided, and in-country organization of transportation were all perfect. The hotel in Jo'burg was perfect. The one criticism is that the hotel in Cape Town wasn't the best and I'd suggest looking into alternative locations for future travel there. Otherwise, it was a five-star experience!

I had a wonderful trip, despite the food at the hotel not being good and the trip being more expensive than was originally explained during the Zoom meetings. Nonetheless, our guide, Prince, was knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful. The food on the cruise ship down the Nile River was delicious, and their staff was awesome. Amgad did an excellent job as well. He worked tirelessly to ensure that we had what we needed and got where we needed to go. Kudos to those two individuals; they did an incredible job!

I enjoyed the trip to Ghana. I am looking to go back in 2024 and carry my grand. However, I did not receive my tshirt the 2xl and the book to write my notes and memory. Will u please check and deliver those things to me.

Words don't suffice. I am so grateful to have been able to take part in this experience. I have been to parts of the continent before, to include West Africa, but the focus of this group in sharing crucial information, history and perspective for the participants to not only see but also share, was the true differentiator. Excellent guides, great food, very comfortable accommodations, but the true value was in being with a group of people also eager and hungry for truth and guides that never tired of providing us with it. Thank you!

We enjoyed meeting fellow travelers of different backgrounds and from different places. The Ghanaian people are extremely warm and welcoming. At every stop, we were reminded that we were home. We especially enjoyed our visit to Kumasi and the naming ceremony. Our tour guide, Morris, was a real jewel. In spite of some logistical challenges (traffic in and around Accra can be difficult), Morris was unflappable. Other staff, including Priscilla, also were so helpful. Unfortunately, the hotel was undergoing renovation during our visit. Our room was very worn and the construction impacted our enjoyment of the common areas. The hotel dining options were also limited, especially in the evenings. We would have preferred a better hotel.

Avoid this company. Their staff is not very knowledgeable nor professional and I did not feel comfortable traveling with this company. They provide no refunds and you cannot customize your trip (you are forced to to do something every day). I lost money with this company and would never refer them.

I had the absolute privilege of joining the Gateway Experience Ghana, July 2022. There's only one word to describe it - TRANSFORMATIVE. Jay has done the work and created a truly phenomenal travel experience. Because of his efforts, I connected with the ancestors, with Ghanaians, with Africans and with myself. I fell in love with Ghana and am now planning to move there. Jay and his local team - the incomparable Morris and the loyal Ernest - took care of every detail and provided a trip that was informative, enjoyable and safe. I don't think I could have that experience with any other tour operator. From now on, I will only travel with Jay and Maximum Impact when I visit any place in Africa. In fact, my group and I are planning to travel together again to Tanzania next year. It's just that deep. If you love Black people and Blackness, then love yourself by booking a trip with Maximum Impact!

They are thorough and very attentive as there are several steps to traveling to Ghana; the entire Maximum Impact team made the booking process seamless with EASY-to-follow instructions. All questions I had were answered promptly and professionally. And, oh my goodness, once you get to Ghana, you will be warmly received by the Maximum Impact team and treated like a V.I.P. Accommodations are clean and super-comfortable and offer all amenities. Don’t hesitate booking the trip if you’re traveling solo as I was.
