MARCH 9-16, 2025
MENLA | PHOENICIA, NY
In March 2025, The Eightfold Path community returns with an immersive one-week exploration of the seventh limb of yoga DHYĀNA—the art of effortless awareness and sustained meditation.
By today’s standards, living in a constant state of stress and overwhelm has seemingly become the norm. While short-term stress can be useful in motivating us to take action, chronic stress slowly erodes the balance and vitality of our body, mind, heart, and spirit.
The DHYĀNA retreat is an opportunity to intervene in our own status quo. By coming back to the body through movement and meditation and taking time to rest and nurture ourselves, we shift our attention back inward. In that return to Self, it doesn’t take long to restore balance and cultivate a renewed sense of clarity and stability.
Through thoughtfully curated program sessions that build day by day, move from the outer world of surface distractions to the inner realms and profound silence within. Experience the practices in a setting designed to redirect the mind’s energy inward and restore inner strength, resilience, and calm.
By harmonizing the body, breath, and mind, re-establish access to the inherent wisdom of the heart and create a bridge to the Infinite within. From there, come to see what you see as we turn our attention toward the emergent horizons of our lives.

What makes The Eightfold Path retreats a truly unique and sacred experience is the collective agreement upon which it is built—an invitation and prerequisite for each participant to embody a high level of personal accountability and to take full responsibility for their individual process.
Our goal is to elevate our collective awareness and develop the emotional intelligence necessary to co-create a well-boundaried space for deep self-study.
The retreat is designed to support practitioners at all levels, from beginners to advanced. At the same time, we give attention to curating a group of mindful, self-aware individuals committed to fostering an atmosphere of mutual respect and awareness.
On the facilitation side, we’ve assembled a team of four highly skilled facilitators—Kevin Courtney, Kate Shela, and Erin Rose Ward—who will guide us through a dynamic week of programming. Each facilitator’s commitment to this retreat is to offer a meticulously held, stable, and safe space where participants can explore themselves at whatever depth they are ready and willing to go.
THE EIGHTFOLD PATH is a temple of community. Built on a shared passion for self-knowledge and the desire for a deeper understanding of the human experience, strengthened and realized by the collaborative energy of practice.
THE EIGHTFOLD PATH is a place for beginner and advanced practitioners alike. It’s designed for us to explore the deeper terrains of the mind-body-psyche complex, accelerate the process of self-realization, and gain the kind of knowledge and wisdom that can only come through direct experience.
THE EIGHTFOLD PATH is not a yoga vacation. It is a carefully curated immersion into powerful practices designed to awaken awareness and evolve one’s state of consciousness. While we take the practices seriously, we don’t take ourselves too seriously at the same time. Depth of study, in concert with light-heartedness, kindness, joy, laughter, and love, are all guiding principles of The Eightfold Path experience.
THE EIGHTFOLD PATH is a technology-free environment. The retreat offers the body, brain, heart, mind, and nervous system a reprieve from being plugged into technology. We create space for family members to connect with loved ones at home, and there is always an access point for anyone outside of the retreat to reach a participant if need be, but the gift on offer is an environment to release ourselves of the dependency and addiction to our devices.
THE EIGHTFOLD PATH is an experience designed to help us come to see, feel, and understand ourselves on a physical, energetic, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual level. The retreat aims to ignite an awareness of the most subtle frequencies of intelligence that, when accessed, create a metaphysical lattice for our awareness to ascend without effort into the realms of the spirit. We build a solid foundation from which to walk ourselves into the rarified air of the Soul.
