Travelers venturing to La Paz, the capital of Baja California Sur, can anticipate a harmonious blend of natural beauty, rich culture, and a relaxed atmosphere. Nestled along the Sea of Cortez, often referred to as "the world's aquarium" by Jacques Cousteau, La Paz offers pristine beaches like Playa Balandra, renowned for its crystal-clear waters and iconic mushroom-shaped rock formation. Adventurous visitors can engage in activities such as snorkeling with sea lions at Isla Espíritu Santo, swimming alongside gentle whale sharks, or kayaking through serene mangroves. 

Beyond its natural allure, La Paz boasts a vibrant cultural scene. The Malecón, a scenic waterfront promenade, is adorned with public art and offers stunning sunset views. Art enthusiasts can explore the Museo de Arte de Baja California Sur, which showcases contemporary works, while marine aficionados might visit the Museo de la Ballena y Ciencias del Mar to learn about the region's rich marine biodiversity.

Hi, I'm Ally! I've spent most of the last 16 years in airports escaping to destinations that fuelled my curiosity to explore incredible parts of the world. I spent the first 8 years of my career doing sales and operations in the travel industry - specifically planning, selling, and running youth group trips across the Caribbean,  Central America, Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia. When I wasn't planning and running other people's trips, I was escaping for some solo travel of my own.
 

After my first big trip at 18, where I camped across 6 countries in Southern Africa, I knew that I had to have as many experiences around the world as I possibly could for the rest of my life. I set a goal of travelling to 30 countries before I turned 30 and was lucky to pass that by 24!
 

Most of you know me as a photographer. I left the professional travel world to pursue my love for being creative. I've worked on TV shows, started a podcast for women with over 50k downloads, shot photos for huge airlines and hotels around the world, and tried to get away as much as I could in between. 

These group trips merge all of my worlds to offer you some of the same life-changing experiences that I've had across the globe. My goal is to offer you a space to reconnect with yourself in a slow but stunning environment where you can take the time and space to clear, reset, create new intentions, start to integrate, and PLAY.
 

We don't play enough as adults. We take ourselves way too seriously. These trips will change that.  They're designed to carve out intentional time to play, while really giving you the freedom to tap into (and honour) what feels good to you each day.
 

Your session with Courtney will be at the beginning of the trip and will be incredibly grounding and transformative. This one-on-one intuitive coaching session will be tailored to customizing your trip experience to best suit your emotional and spiritual needs.
 

The rest of the trip is up to you. Let's savour the slow travel, meet new friends, eat good food, cry if we have to, and have an incredible trip that we'll remember for the rest of our lives.

Do I need travel insurance?
Yes! All participants must have travel insurance to cover medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and other unforeseen events. If you do not have coverage via your credit card, you can purchase it separately.

What are the accommodations like?

We are staying in a condo just outside of Cabo San Lucas. Each traveller will have their own bed in the house. Rooms are assigned based on pre-trip questionnaires that help us best decide which personalities and sleeping styles would be most compatible. We choose to stay in apartments for our trips to give women the chance to cook & budget their trip best!

Standard Package vs. Upgraded Package: What's the difference?

The standard package will include all of the basic listed inclusions for the trip (accom, whale sharks, intuitive session. The upgrade package will have all of the standard inclusions PLUS:

+ Trip memories photoshoot package w/ Ally

+ Trip reel/video 

+ Welcome bottle of bubbles

How Do I Get There?

Fly into La Paz (LAP). Alaskan airlines offers flights from LAX. You can also make it an adventure and connect through Mexico City but depending on where you're coming from, it might be out of the way!

Fly into Cabo (SJD). You can book a transfer to La Paz or rent a car and head out on a road trip across Baja. If there are multiple girls flying into Cabo, I'm happy to connect you if you want to split transfers.

Should I Rent A Car?

While this is not mandatory, having a car provides you the freedom and flexibility to move around Baja and get to places without having to take on ubers or extra transfers!

Are There Fitness Requirements For This Trip?

While the activity level for this trip is low, we ask that travellers with pre-existing medical conditions get clearance from their health professionals to travel.

What's The Itinerary Like?

Our trips are simple: Curated experiences for women who hate the idea of being stuck on a tour. This is your chance to wake up each day and tap into what feels good TO YOU each day - without the guilt. Make it your trip ;)

We'll have a boat day on the water in hopes of swimming with either whale sharks or sea lions, but outside of that - there is so much time to settle in and curate you days in ways that you want! Last trip, we drove to Todos Santos for the day, had a surf day in Cerritos, spent days on the boat in La Paz and then flowed for the rest!

Cancellation & Booking Information

Please note that this trip requires a minimum of 6 booked women to run. The trip will be confirmed on or before January 7th.  All trip payments are 100% non-refundable unless the trip is cancelled in which case all payments will be returned.

Payments can be transferred to another traveller or another trip but filling the spot is the responsibility of the traveller and not The Girls Trip Series.

A reminder that our trips are not structured tours. Yes, we have inclusions and activities that we do together - but the type of gals who thrive on these experiences are women who enjoy equal amounts of connection and independence. If you require a lot of structure, guidance, hand-holding, and reassurance, this travel style is not suited to you <3

Widlife Sighting Is Not Guaranteed

While we have every intention of seeing whale sharks or sea lions with our booking, mother nature has final say. This area is very regulated and protected for the safety of the animals and the boat company will do everything in their power to make your day <3
