11 Days of culture, history, and coastal reset,
Egypt is one of those places people talk about their whole lives and still hesitate to book. This trip is designed to remove that hesitation and give you a structured, elevated way to experience it properly.
Over 11 days, we move through Cairo, Aswan, Luxor, and the Red Sea with a balance of guided experiences and time to take it all in. You will see the iconic sites, but more importantly, you will understand what you are looking at. Every part of this itinerary is built with local guides and egyptologists, thoughtful pacing, and a level of detail that makes the experience feel seamless.
This is not a rushed group tour. It is a curated experience for women who want to travel well, feel safe, and be fully present in a destination that can otherwise feel overwhelming to plan on your own.
Egypt is not a destination most women feel comfortable navigating solo, even if they have the desire to go. Between logistics, concerns about travelling solo and the scale of the country, it is easy to keep putting it off. This trip was created to change that.
Everything is handled for you, from all transportation, activities, guides, and accommodations. You are able to experience Egypt with confidence, without sacrificing depth or independence.
You do not need a travel partner. You do not need to figure it out. You just need to decide you are coming.
We move through Egypt in a way that makes sense. Cairo introduces you to the scale and history. Aswan slows the pace and brings in culture and connection. The Nile gives you space to breathe and take it all in. Luxor delivers the depth of ancient Egypt. The Red Sea gives you time to reset before heading home.
You are not being moved quickly from site to site. There is intention behind how each part of the trip flows so that it feels immersive rather than overwhelming.
We work with local partners and egyptologists who know this destination deeply. You are not just seeing Egypt, you are being guided through it with context, access, and care.
This trip is for the woman who has always wanted to go to Egypt but has been waiting for the right time, the right person, or the right way to do it.
It is for someone who values experiences over things and wants to feel something when she travels, not just check a destination off a list.
It is also for the solo traveler who does not want to do this kind of trip alone, but also does not want to feel like she is on a rigid tour.
It is for the woman who travels well and does not get easily overwhelmed or flustered in chaotic environments & the type of traveller who understands that sh*t happens sometimes when travelling, and they can roll with the punches.
Most women who travel with us come solo - all women leave with connections that feel genuine because everyone made the same decision to be there.
Accommodations are comfortable mid-level hotels that are thoughtfully chosen to balance experience and value so we can keep the trip accessible without compromising on comfort! While this isn’t a "luxury" trip, it’s rich in heart, adventure, and connection ;). Please note this journey does have 1 night in an overnight sleeper train.
You will be placed with another woman on the trip as your roomie. We match roomies based on your pre-trip questionnaire answers to team you up with someone we think you'd be most compatible with in terms of sleeping styles and personality. If you would like your own room, please add a single occupancy add on at the time of booking.
This journey is designed as an overland-style adventure, meaning we’ll be moving across Egypt by car, train & boat - taking in the landscapes, culture, and rhythm of the country along the way.
We'll be covering a lot of ground during our 11 days together. Because of that, it's important to note that this trip is more structured than our other destinations. There are a lot more meal and activity inclusions for the Egypt trip (vs other trips that we do) so you can make the most out of the experience. Having said all that, this is still your trip. So if anything feels like a "meh" for you when you wake up, listen to your bod and hang back and rest of take on something else of your liking. Just don't miss the van ;)
Please note that because part of this journey is a road trip in a sprinter van, we ask that women pack accordingly and avoid large-hard top suitcases. Small carry-ons, and larger duffels with wheels work best for the back while personal items can be carried with you up front in the van. We'll set up all travellers with a packing list to help with this beforehand <3
What's the travel style for The Girls Trip Series?
It's important to note that the women who choose to travel on this trip should be hyper-independent. Unlike other group travel experiences and retreats, these trips are designed to give you freedom to explore on your own terms. Women who come on this trip should be mellow, be able to go with the flow, and not depend on other people to make/break their experience. To make sure you're a good energetic fit for the trip and that this is the right investment for you, all interested travellers must be approved via our trip application system.
How Do I Get There?
Fly into Cairo (CAI). We will arrange to have you picked up from the airport and brought to our starting hotel. While our arrival day only has a welcome meeting planned for the evening, we hit the road the following day - so it is recommended to arrive a day before the trip starts to avoid any airline and travel delays that would potentially leave you having to try and catch up to the location of the group. Please note that hotels are not covered for early arrivals.
Are There Fitness Requirements For This Trip?
While the activity level for this trip is low, we ask that travellers with pre-existing medical conditions get clearance from their health professionals to travel.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes! All participants must have travel insurance to cover medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and other unforeseen events. If you do not have coverage via your credit card, you can purchase it separately.
