Join me for two weeks in my favorite part of England! We start our journey in the ancient city of York visiting the largest Gothic cathedral in Northern Europe, learning about the city’s long history from our local guide Chris, wandering through the medieval Shambles (think Diagon Alley!), and making some delicious treats at the chocolate museum. We daytrip to Thirsk (All Creatures Great & Small country) and the Bronte Sisters' Haworth. Then we spend another five nights in the market town of Skipton, visiting the 900-year-old castle, walking through the peaceful woods, and seeing a real Shakespeare First Folio. We take a day-long canal boat ride through the Yorkshire countryside and have a special Quaker dinner. We visit the UNESCO World Heritage village of Saltaire and the city of Leeds where we take a unique Victorian pub crawl. In Liverpool (insert girly screams here), we have a private taxi tour with a local guide, and check out the Casbah Coffee Club (where the Beatles REALLY started). We visit not-one-but-two Beatles Museums, go to Strawberry Field(s), Penny Lane, and groove our nights away at the Cavern Club.
The tour begins and ends in London.

Most likely your flight will leave leave on Thursday, April 21st and arrive in London on Friday April 22nd. After going through customs, you use your Oyster Card to board the London Underground for the ride to Earl’s Court. There’s only one line and one direction, which makes it easy! You will receive your Oyster card and precise directions before you leave home.
Leaving Earls Court station, you walk the short distance to our hotel and get settled in. Jet lag is never fun but, after you freshen up, we will go for a bit of a walk to see a bit of London. Dinner is at the Blackbird Pub near the hotel, then we retire early to get a good night’s sleep to be rested for the fun times ahead.
