      About this trip

Adventure through Uzbekistan on our epic 7-day itinerary through Tashkent, Bukhara and Samarkand. We've designed this trip so you'll explore the heart of the Golden Age of Islam in Central Asia, all while enjoying delicious Uzbek food, trying your hand at Islamic arts and enjoying beautiful architecture and scenery.

Wondering what it's like to travel with us? Here's what Huwaydah said after travelling with us for the first time in September 2022:

My trip with Halal Travel Guide was amazing
"My 1st trip with HTG and it was amazing!
Travelling with HTG I felt safe and found like-minded travellers that enriched the experience.

The itinerary was well planned with lots of things for us to do and see. I was not aware of all the Islamic history in Uzbekistan and this was an eye opener for me. I also liked that we got to take part in pottery and calligraphy masterclass and plov making.

Loved the country, the hospitality and hope to visit again soon insha'Allah."

      Itinerary

      Day 1
      Arrival and Welcome in Tashkent

      Welcome to Uzbekistan!

You’ll be greeted you at the airport and taken straight to your hotel to freshen up and rest a little.

Please note that your guide will wait for you outside the airport exit. The airport is not large and is easy to navigate.

We'll take you for lunch at the Plov Centre where you can see the process of making Uzbekistan's national dish. You'll then visit the Friday Mosque to pray before continuing our sightseeing to the Hast Imam complex (Barak-Khan and Kaffal-Shashi mausoleums (16th century)), home to the esteemed Quran of Caliph Uthman, marking the starting point of your deeper connection with Uzbekistan's splendid Islamic legacy.

We'll also take you to see the new part of the city and our trip will end at  Chorsu Bazaar, Tashkent’s central market and possibly the best way to get introduced to Uzbek culture. You’ll have the chance to interact with the locals, see some Uzbekistan's fresh produces, and also to shop.

Tonight, you'll meet your tour leader and enjoy your warm welcome to Uzbekistan at our group dinner.

      Overnight in Tashkent.

I had a fantastic tour and trip to Uzbekistan with Halal Travel Guide and 100% recommend it. Our itinerary was perfect, we saw so much in 6 days but it didn't feel too fast paced and we had time to relax and do our own thing. Our guide, Humoyun was great, he told us so much about his country and was incredibly patient with us ladies who liked to take photos and shop. I loved the experiences of the plov making, pottery and calligraphy and having 2 local female guides in 2 of the cities. All 3 hotels were clean, well located and felt very safe and secure and getting the bullet train twice made travelling really easy and enjoyable.

I recently went on a trip that was not only stress-free but also deeply enriching. The focus on Islam allowed me to fully embrace my faith, ensuring I didn't miss a single prayer. The company was fantastic, and I made some incredible friends along the way. Overall, it was a perfect 10 out of 10 experience, and I would jump at the chance to do it all over again.

When I was a child, my parents told me about what happened in Bosnia in the 90’s. Since then this country has always stuck in my head. Alhamdullilah, I managed to get some time off work to visit this amazing country and wouldn't have chosen any other company to go with. Halal Travel Guide have years of experience and that was evident throughout the course of the trip. They focus on real life story telling which impacts your heart greatly. Soumayya, Salma and Nedim were absolutely excellent and I couldn't have asked for better guides. Thank you HTG for organising this trip and I hope to be back with you in the near future InshAllah.
