After a delightful breakfast, we embark on a journey through time, beginning with the breathtaking Johnstown Castle & Estate. This striking Gothic Revival masterpiece is set amidst serene lakes and lush gardens, offering a glimpse into Ireland’s aristocratic past. Wander the beautifully maintained grounds, admire the castle’s stunning architecture, and explore the fascinating Irish Agricultural Museum housed on the estate

Our next stop is a  step back in time at the Irish National Heritage Park
A short journey brings us to the Irish National Heritage Park, where history truly comes alive. This immersive open-air museum takes you on a captivating journey through Ireland’s past, from ancient Celtic settlements to Viking encampments and Norman strongholds. Engage with interactive exhibits, witness traditional crafts, and stroll through reconstructed historical sites that paint a vivid picture of Ireland’s evolving heritage.

It's then a short drive back to our hotel where you then can rest up, swim or visit the spa before we meet up for more fabulous food and Joanie's and Mary's entertainment!

Following breakfast, we will step aboard the Dunbrody Famine Ship, an authentic reproduction of the 19th-century emigrant vessel that carried thousands of Irish people to new lives abroad. Through engaging storytelling and interactive displays, discover the hardships and resilience of those who braved the Atlantic in search of a better future. Gain a deep appreciation for the impact of the Great Famine on Ireland’s history and its people.

Afternoon: The Michael Collins Center
Following lunch, we visit the Michael Collins Center, where we delve into the life and legacy of one of Ireland’s most influential historical figures. Through a mix of personal artifacts, engaging presentations, and dramatic storytelling, learn about Collins’ pivotal role in Ireland’s fight for independence. This experience offers a moving and insightful look at the man behind the legend.

Midday: Lunch in Kenmare
Arriving in Kenmare, a town renowned for its charm and hospitality, we take a break for you to enjoy a delightful lunch in one of its welcoming local eateries. Take some time to explore the town’s quaint streets, admire its traditional shops, or simply soak in the atmosphere of this vibrant heritage town.

Afternoon & Evening: Return to Inchydoney for a Night to Remember
After a satisfying lunch, we journey back to the Inchydoney Hotel & Spa, where an evening of fantastic food and world-class entertainment awaits.

Day Five: Exploring Gougane Barra, Killarney & Tralee

Morning: A Visit to Gougane Barra National Park
We bid farewell to the Inchydoney Hotel & Spa and set off towards the stunning Gougane Barra National Park. Nestled in a secluded valley, this breathtaking park is home to serene lakes, ancient woodlands, and the iconic St. Finbarr’s Oratory, a picturesque chapel set on a small island. Take in the fresh mountain air and immerse yourself in the tranquility of this hidden gem.

Midday: Lunch & Shopping in Killarney
Next, we make our way to Killarney, a vibrant town renowned for its charming streets, local boutiques, and warm hospitality. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at one of Killarney’s fantastic restaurants, followed by time to explore and shop for unique souvenirs, handcrafted goods, or traditional Irish wares.

 It's then on to Tralee & Dinner at The Rose Hotel
Our journey concludes in Tralee, where we check in at the elegant 4-star Rose Hotel. Here, we gather for a delicious dinner, followed by an evening of music and entertainment, ensuring our day ends on a high note with the best of Irish hospitality.  Of course, we have another incredible dining experience with outstanding music planned this evening by Joanie and Mary!

Day Six: Discovering the Dingle Peninsula
Departing from the Rose Hotel, we set out to explore the breathtaking Dingle Peninsula, known for its dramatic coastline, rugged cliffs, and charming villages steeped in Gaelic tradition. Take in the stunning scenery as we traverse this enchanting region, where every turn reveals a postcard-perfect view of the Atlantic Ocean and rolling green hills.

Midday: Lunch & Step Dancing at David Geaney’s Dingle Pub
A highlight of the day is our stop at the Dingle Pub, where we enjoy a delicious lunch while being treated to an energetic and masterful display of traditional Irish step dancing from 5 Times World Champion, David Geaney.   Experience the infectious rhythm and passion of Irish dance in an intimate and lively setting!

Evening: A Night at Siamsa Tíre – Ireland’s National Folk Theatre
Following dinner, we attend a spectacular performance at Siamsa Tíre, Ireland’s National Folk Theatre. This evening’s show features the incredible Scottish singer Eddi Reader and the Alan Kelly Gang, promising an unforgettable night of music and storytelling.  Immerse yourself in the heart and soul of Irish music as we round out another remarkable day in Ireland.

DINNER & OVERNIGHT: THE ROSE HOTEL, TRALEE (B, D)

Day Seven:   John B. Keane’s Pub, Vandeleur Gardens and Ennis
After our breakfast, we bid farewell to the Rose Hotel and set off for the charming town of Listowel, where we visit the legendary John B. Keane’s Pub. This historic establishment offers a glimpse into the life and work of one of Ireland’s most beloved literary giants. Soak in the atmosphere of the pub where Keane penned many of his famous works, and gain insight into his lasting impact on Irish literature and culture.

Next, we take the Tarbert Ferry across the Shannon Estuary, arriving in beautiful County Clare. Our journey continues with a stop at the Vandeleur Gardens, a hidden gem known for its stunning botanical beauty. Wander through the beautifully restored walled gardens, a perfect place to relax and reflect on the incredible journey we’ve shared.

A Grand Finale in Ennis at the Old Ground Hotel
Our final destination is the vibrant town of Ennis, where we check into the luxurious 4-star Old Ground Hotel. Here, we celebrate our journey with an unforgettable farewell dinner, indulging in fantastic food that showcases the best of Irish cuisine. The night concludes with outstanding music, ensuring our last evening together is one of joy, laughter, and cherished memories.

Sadly, our adventures are over and we’re very sorry to see you go!! Our coach driver will get you to Shannon Airport in plenty of time for you to check in for your flight and clear customs and emigration, avoiding the long lines that you can meet you in America. There is ample duty-free shopping available at the airport for any last-minute gifts or mementos.
