What if you began to see your life as something you're actively creating, rather than something that's simply happening to you?
A handcrafted life isn't mass-produced. It doesn't have to follow someone else's template or expectations. And it certainly doesn't mean having control over everything that comes our way.
Life will surprise us, challenge us, and sometimes take us in directions we never imagined. But even when we can't choose what happens, we can explore how we respond, what we give our energy and attention to, and what we create with what's in front of us.
It's personal. Imperfect. Ever-evolving. And most importantly, it requires our participation.
The Handcrafted Life is a 4-day, 3-night retreat inviting you to slow down, reconnect with your creative nature, and explore what it means to consciously participate in the life you're creating.
Surrounded by 18 acres of peaceful woodland, we'll spend our days making things with our hands, wandering through the forest, exploring new experiences, and connecting with ourselves and one another.
We'll create simply for the joy of creating. No artistic experience necessary, no pressure to make something beautiful, and definitely no expectation to get it right. We are ALL creative beings.
Through hands-on creative workshops, mindful nature walks, foraging, journaling rituals, meaningful conversations, and plenty of time to simply be, we'll explore what it means to create both with the world around us and within our own lives.
As we create, we'll get curious. Where are we living with intention? Where might we be following someone else's expectations? What feels meaningful and alive? And what might we want to create moving forward?
This isn't about reinventing yourself or leaving with a perfectly mapped-out plan. It's about remembering that you're a creative being, that your life is uniquely yours, and that you have a hand in what you're making.
Come get your hands messy. Try something new. Wander through the trees. Laugh. Rest. Make something imperfect and wonderful.
A handcrafted life isn't about creating something perfect. It's about creating something that feels like your own.

Brandi Praytor | Brandi Praytor Coaching
Brandi is a certified Deep Transformational Coach and Reiki practitioner devoted to creating spaces for women to slow down, soften, and reconnect with themselves. Through retreats, workshops, and one-on-one guidance, she helps them quiet the external noise, listen to their inner wisdom, and build lives that feel more aligned, intentional, and true to themselves.
Her work blends presence, nature, intuition, creativity, and self-trust—offering women a space to breathe, reconnect, and come home to themselves. She believes transformation can be both deep and playful, and that healing is often helped along by fresh air, honest conversations, moments of unexpected laughter, and the experience of being seen and supported by others.
Outside of her work, Brandi enjoys spending time with family, traveling, hiking, and stopping every five minutes to photograph trees, light beams, and other tiny beautiful things.

This Mountain Space sits on 18 private acres in Chattaroy, surrounded by pines and open sky, with no visible neighbors and uninterrupted quiet.
From the property, the view of Mount Kit Carson rises beyond the horizon — its presence quietly eclipsing nearby Mount Spokane. The land holds both expanse and intimacy: ancient apple trees, a small vineyard, and a trail that leads to a bluff overlook where perspective returns naturally.
