Start the year off strong, with an ascent to the top of Texas’s tallest peak. Standing at 8,749 feet, Guadalupe Peak is a strenuous 8.4 mile out and back with over 3,000 feet in elevation gain.
This trek is for the Weekend Warrior, we leave Friday after work hours and come back Sunday mid-day with plenty of time for you to kick back in your new post-climb glow of, "wow I can't believe I just accomplished that. "
Food:
All meals, including Base Camp Dinner and Breakfast, will be provided as well as a selection of coffees, teas and plenty of water. We suggest bringing any extra food you may want to eat while at base camp, as well as any snacks you may want to bring along on the trek.
(Note: please let us know if you have allergies or any food preference so we can accommodate.)
Shelter:
Your 2-4 person tent is included. In your welcome email, you will get a Camp Gear checklist along with recourses to rent and or purchase any items you may want that are not included.
Please be aware day time temperatures can range from 30F to a high in the 60s. Nighttime temperatures with windchill could drop into the single digits. Proper clothing is essential.

Lets climb that damn mountain! ?
Driving west into the sunset we will arrive at Guadalupe Base Camp under the stars.
Fire, food, and shelter will be our first order of business. After that, we will enjoy dinner fireside under the Texas sky before climbing into our sleeping bags for the night.
