Ruaha National Park is a wilderness destination that offers the traveler with a rare occurrence of game viewing together with a stunning landscape. The park is not highly explored and touched thus offering the visitors a unique experience. It has plenty of plants and animals that will leave you satisfied. Ruaha National Park is well known for its large population of elephants. Over 500 species of birds have been recorded here and make it a paradise to bird watchers. Most of the birds are residents such as Kingfishers, Hornbills and Sunbirds but some are migrants from other continents such as Asia, Europe, and within Africa to the region for instance the White Stork. As much as the birds can be spotted all year around, the best season for bird watching is on the wet season.Other animals that can easily be spotted in the park include both Greater and Lesser Kudu, lions,leopards, giraffes, elephant, elands, zebras, impala, African wild dog Jackals and bat eared foxes. On the Miombo woodlands you will easily spot the Sable and Roan antelopes.
You will be picked from airport or hotel in Dar with kihindo tours representative to start your safari, you will be transferred to Ruaha National park, we will get lunch on the way at morogoro town then continue transfer to Ruaha national park on the way you will have to see the scenery of the environment and physical features like, mountain kitonga, and rivers.We will get dinner and overnight at RUAHA HILLTOP LODGE.
