We’ll begin our journey in Nairobi with a scenic Premium SGR train ride to Voi, followed by an unforgettable safari experience at the iconic Salt Lick Safari Lodge. Guests can look forward to game drives, incredible wildlife viewing, a bush dinner under the African sky, and the magic of the African night. We’ll then return to Nairobi for conservation experiences, Kenyan culture, a tea farm experience, local cuisine, a cooking experience, and time to explore and enjoy the city.

The Kenyan Escape officially begins Monday, May 31, 2027 at 7:30 AM.

To ensure a smooth and stress-free start to the trip, we strongly recommend arriving in Nairobi on Sunday, May 30, 2027. Arriving the day before allows you time to clear immigration, collect your luggage, rest after your international flight, and be prepared for our early morning start.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Our meeting point is Nairobi Terminus (SGR) in Syokimau, NOT Nairobi Central Railway Station.

From the station, we’ll board our Premium SGR train to Voi and officially begin The Kenyan Escape! 🚆🇰🇪

🏨 ARRIVING THE DAY BEFORE

Guests arriving on Sunday, May 30 will need to arrange and pay for their own hotel accommodations for the night before the trip officially begins. This additional night is not included in the trip price.

Please plan your arrival and hotel accommodations accordingly. We recommend choosing a hotel that allows for an easy and timely transfer to Nairobi Terminus Monday morning.

Unique Lodging

Our Unique Lodging is a luxurious and iconic safari retreat located in Kenya’s Sanctuary, near . Known for its unique architecture, the lodge features elevated, stilted rooms with panoramic views of wildlife-rich waterholes, allowing guests to observe animals up close from the comfort of their accommodations. Each room includes an ensuite bathroom, mosquito netting, and ceiling fans. The all-inclusive experience features breakfasts and starlit dinners.  With its blend of comfort, adventure, and unmatched wildlife viewing it offers an unforgettable African safari experience.

Nairobi lodging 

We’ll be staying in comfortable, beautifully furnished apartment-style accommodations, with everyone staying close together so we can enjoy the trip as a group while still having a little personal space. The apartments offer a relaxed, home-like feel with plenty of room to unwind after our adventures around Kenya. It’s a comfortable, convenient and stylish home base for our girls’ getaway. 🇰🇪

To reach our Unique  Stays, we have to take a 2.5-hour train from Nairobi. This train offers a comfortable ride with air-conditioned coaches, reserved seating, and scenic views of the Kenyan landscape.  We will be booking the premium options.
