Join us at Almond Lodge on Hellveyn, with it's modern decor but timeless valley views, log fire and plunge pools.. Meals and table wine included as you come and enjoy the Lakes in all their wintery glory.
Who are the swim guides? - Mel
Mel is TWSCo's full time swim guide, Mel is a qualified Beach Lifeguard, Open Water Swim Coach and has achieved the National Water Safety Management Programme
Mel is currently studying towards her Diploma in Cold Water Therapy, as well being a nutritionist, personal trainer and operating a successful Swim School

Who are the swim guides? - Rich
Rich is a Beach Lifeguard, Open Water Lifeguard and Open Water Swim Coach and has achieved the National Water Safety Management Programme. Amongst this, Rich also delivers the whole suite of lifeguard and water safety awards for The Royal Lifesaving Society as a National Trainer Assessor.
Rich is also RNLI lifeboat crew and operations manager of Land & Wave, a busy outdoor centre in Dorset.

Who are the swim guides? - Ali
Ali is a Beach Lifeguard, Open Water Lifeguard and Open Water Swim Coach and has achieved the National Water Safety Management Programme.
Ali is a TWSCo. favourite, she has plenty of mountain experience and absolutely loves The Lake District!

Available Packages
Share a dormitory room with like minded people, ideal for solo travellers or friends alike. We'll put you all in contact via WhatsApp before the trip so as you can say hello. Inclusive of meals, all swims/ events and table wine.
Share a larger room for up to four in a double and bunk for £399 each inclusive of meals, all swims/ events and table wine. Larger groups possible with large discounts. Suitable for all who can swim 200m continuously

Itinerary
We meet at our first swim location at 1pm, likely to be a glorious lake in the lee of Helvellyn, England's favourite mountain. This guided swim and swim clinic will give you a chance to improve your stroke, or try a new stroke under the supervision of our qualified and experienced swim coaches.
Be sure to bring your hot drinks flasks fully charged to accompany homemade cake before we head to the accomodation for rooming.
Dinner with table wine will be followed by our famous 'Tame the Tides' talk in the lounge.
