      About this trip

We welcome you to join The Land of Enchantment - Reset Retreat! Gather on the unique and enchanted land of Taos, New Mexico with our dear friends, family & the Enchanted Spirit of Northern New Mexico itself.

Join your host of Lotus Retreats; Loren Lotus for an experiential & restorative weekend gathering in the unique energy of Northern New Mexico.

The energy of Taos is a powerful and mystical hidden vortex in Northern America. We're inviting you to this sacred land to hold us in it's magic as we reconnect, reset and balance the energy of our inner and outer worlds. Now more than ever, we are being called to balance the Yin and the Yang, the feminine and the masculine and the inner and outer worlds of our mind, body & Spirit.

Lotus Retreats has carefully curated this weekend with morning practices to guide us back into our bodies, our energy center and reconnection with ourselves. This will include meditation, movement, some Yoga and cleansing practices to clear any blockages in the body. We'll restore in the evenings with Yin Yoga, sound healing and ceremony offerings to reconnect with ourselves, each other & the divine nature around and within us.

We'll offer recommendations on excursions to hike, soak and cleanse in all of nature's natural remedies. Clean air, grounding earth and cleansing waters under the Taos Blue Skys.

Optional activities like river rafting the Rio Grande or site seeing the famous Rio Grande Gorge, Earthships, and exploring the Taos Pueblo Native American Art & Culture are encouraged!

      Your facilitators

      Loren Lotus

Loren, founder of Lotus Retreats, and your event coordinator has hosted over 30 retreats around the world. She is a passionate traveler, entrepreneur, retreat leader & facilitator with her entire heart and soul dedicated to curating safe containers for community to gather. Loren will be offering meditation practices, Yoga, music & dance as well as ritual ceremonial practices & medicine throughout the weekend while sharing her passionate gifts to show you the magical pieces of each special place!

      Andrea Elena

Andrea is a multi faceted facilitator. One of her hats is nourishing people through food. She invites in an ancestral way of eating with the seasons to any space she cooks for. She believes that nourishment is a deeply intimate practice with self and with body. She comes alive at the opportunity to support people through nourishment. From cooking the food, to pausing and taking a moment of gratitude before eating the food, to mindful chewing and digesting. She weaves in her knowledge around eating with the seasons and the importance of mindful eating.

      Accommodations

Arrive to a private, secluded and family-owned retreat center, nestled at the bottom of the Carson National Forest. We'll be surrounded by trees, desert brush and blue skies somewhere between the high-desert and low-alpine forest!

The retreat property has several stand alone adobe-style casitas for private occupancy, as well as several shared homes with multiple rooms for guests preferring shared spaces! We'll use one home for the shared meals (post yoga breakfast buffets and family style dinners!) and have an entire Shala for yoga, movement and all the magic to happen..

As Dr. Sues says "it's opener there, in the wide open air" and New Mexico provides just that - open, wide open air and space for us to rest, restore, heal our minds and bodies to celebrate the adventure that life has to offer.

Incredible cultural voyage through the sacred valley of Peru. This was an adventurous and beautiful retreat. More than just asana yoga. There were indigenous ceremonies, hikes through the mountains, and historical site visits. Lotus Retreats always forms a connected group and we had a blast in Peru. I would 100% travel with Lotus Retreats again

First and foremost, apologies for this super overdue review. I just realized that I haven't left a review for Loren Lotus, but periodically I have thought about this magical retreat I went on with Loren in 2018 to Colombia. Loren was very communicative about all the trip details beforehand, and planned very special programs; a small trip to the neighboring village with a local guide, interesting workshops with great guest teachers, etc. although she is an amazing instructor! The retreat venue was magical and was very accommodating about everyone's dietary restrictions. I spent possibly the best week of my life, and I am forever grateful for that experience. Highly recommend it if you are looking for something to nourish your mind, body, and heart. Thank you Loren. I hope you are doing well! Sending love.

I had an amazing experience in Colombia with Lotus Retreats in July 2023. Loren and Rachel are fantastic women who lead with love and light. They show so much care and respect towards each person's experience and offer each guest the opportunity to make their trip as busy or relaxed as they wish it to be. I highly recommend the excursions, as I got to experience more of Colombia and the history of its culture; however, they are optional, which is great on days when a guest would prefer some time spent in reflection. The daily yoga offerings were my favorite part, as they brought different styles of yoga, pranayama techniques, and sound healing into class. And finally, the freshly prepared, locally-sourced meals were INCREDIBLE. My body is still thanking me!

I had the opportunity to deepen my practice / experience the beauty of Tulum Mexico with Lotus Retreats and would do it again in a heartbeat! The Lotus Retreats crew quickly created a space of loving community, increased awareness, and intentional practice within the first few hours of our retreat and it only got better from there! These retreats are special. Humanity in raw form. I'll be back for more, no doubt!
