Daily Schedule

  • 8:00-9:00: Movement Class, Hike or Outdoor Activity 
  • 9:30-11:00: Breakfast
  • 11:00-12:00: Learning Lab with Dr. Yang
  • 12:00-17:00: RoseBar Activities
  • 17:00-18:00: Meditation or Breathwork with Dr. Yang
  • 18:00-19:00: Yoga (Vinyasa or Restorative with Reiki)
  • 19:30-21:00: Dinner

1. What is a Learning Lab?

These are OPTIONAL sessions designed to promote experimentation, innovation, and active participation in learning new skills or concepts. Unlike traditional workshops where information is primarily delivered in a lecture format, a Learning Lab emphasizes active participation, experimentation, and collaboration.


2. Do I need yoga, breathwork,  or meditation experience?

Our retreat caters to all levels of practitioners, from beginners to advanced. Dr. Ingrid Yang’s vast experience ensures that everyone can participate comfortably and benefit from all sessions Whether you are new to yoga, breathwork, and meditation or have been practicing for years, you will find the practices enriching and adaptable to your level.


3. What are the topics you will cover in the Learning Labs?

  1. Nutrition: Learn how to design a personalized diet that optimizes your longevity. Explore the benefits of an anti-inflammatory diet and balance your nutrition to support a healthy microbiome. Are there ways you can master your metabolism and how does that directly (or indirectly) affect your longevity? Hint: This doesn’t mean you need to take 20 supplements a day. Also, some supplements are better than others!
  2. Sleep: Explore the latest research on sleep, including how much you need and how to achieve the best quality sleep for longevity. Uncover the surprising connections between sleep, memory enhancement, and emotional resilience, and learn strategies to optimize your sleep for a healthier, longer life.
  3. Movement: Understand why movement is crucial for longevity and learn about the types of movement best suited to your specific goals. Discover the fascinating science behind how different forms of exercise can rejuvenate your nervous system, boost your mood, and enhance your vitality. 4. What is the cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is designed to be as accommodating as possible within the constraints of a highly sought-after retreat. All deposits are non-refundable. After the full payment due date of February 1, 2025, your deposit is still non-refundable, but if you’ve paid in full and must cancel, you can receive a full refund of the balance provided this is done before the due date. Post February 1, if you cannot attend, you are welcome to find a replacement attendee, subject to approval by Ingrid.


5. Do I need trip insurance?

Given the terms of our cancellation policy, purchasing travel insurance is strongly recommended. This ensures that you are covered in cases of unexpected cancellations due to illness or other unforeseeable circumstances. Many credit cards provide excellent travel insurance options, so it’s worth checking with your provider.

 

6. Can the retreat accommodate all dietary needs, such as vegan, gluten-free, etc.?

Absolutely! The resort's restaurants accommodate various dietary requirements to ensure every participant enjoys a holistic and nurturing dining experience. Our retreat offers a diverse culinary adventure, with menus crafted by skilled chefs who are well-versed in preparing vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and other special diet meals. When you register, you will have the opportunity to specify your dietary preferences and any allergies. This information will be used to tailor every meal to suit your dietary needs throughout the retreat, ensuring you have delicious and healthy options at every meal.
