In San Luis Potosí City & surroundings: 

• Historic Center: Stroll through the UNESCO-recognized colonial streets, marvel at baroque churches, and visit the Plaza de Armas. Discover the rich history and culture of the region on a fascinating and fun walking tour. 

In La Huasteca Potosina: 

• Tamul Waterfall: Experience the grandeur of Mexico’s tallest waterfall by canoeing through turquoise waters up to the waterfall.  

• Media Luna lake: Swim through various channels of crystal clear waters up to a connecting lake that is world renowned for scuba diving. Water temperature is warm year round averaging 82°F or 27°C!  

• Puente de Dios: meaning: “the bridge of God” is a place to swim in crystal-clear waters surrounded by jungle and natural rock formations.  

• Sótano de las Huahuas: witness the breathtaking spectacle of thousands of birds spiralling in & out of one of the deepest caves of San Luis Potosí, a natural show unlike any other. 

• Xilitla’s Surrealist Garden: Be enchanted by Sir Edward James’s surreal sculptures, castle and gardens nestled in the tropical forest. 

• Traditional Huasteca villages: Enjoy the serenity, history, cultural heritage and uniqueness of La Huasteca’s pristine environment.  

This tour involves moderate to high physical activity, including walking on uneven terrain, climbing up/down (at times slippery) steps, hiking up a mountain, rowing in a canoe and lots of swimming. There will also be long stretches of driving (with several stops to stretch).

While the adventure is rewarding, it’s best suited for individuals in good physical health with no limiting mobility (Eg. back, hips, knees, etc.) OR severe heart or blood pressure issues.
