      About this trip

Come celebrate the floral beauty that brings us all together at the 2024 PHS Philadelphia Flower Show, United by Flowers! Now in its 195th year, this award-winning gardening event and PHS’s main fundraiser will be held from March 2 - March 10 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. This year’s theme will showcase the transformative power of gardening and stunning beauty that connects us all.

The Philadelphia Flower Show is back and indoors at the Convention Center. Today we begin are journey with a beautiful 3 course lunch on the Iconic Moshulu. The “legendary” Moshulu is indeed the world’s oldest and largest square-rigged sailing vessel still afloat. She is in fact the one and only restaurant venue on a Tall Ship today in the World. Built by William Hamilton & Co., Port of Glasgow, Scotland in 1904 for the G.J.H Siemers Co. of Hamburg, Germany as the four-masted baroque Kurt. This “state-of-the-art” sailing ship was the finest and latest of man’s achievement in the world’s shipbuilding industry for the construction of bulk or packaged cargo sailing ships.

After lunch we make are way to the Philadelphia Convention Center for

      the 2023 Annual Flower Show.

You can't beat the convenience of the bus. Stopping in Union City for an early lunch at Casa di Napoli was great planning. The food and staff were "old world Italian." It was an easy move from Casa di Napoli to the Lincoln Tunnel and then on to the play. THE NOTEBOOK was a great choice. My wife and I haven't seen a musical that good and uplifting in a long time. The music, the singing, the acting and the stagecraft were extraordinary. Great job, Gary and staff.

Fantastic, I'm glad I went, Continuous music, not much talking, brought the house down with Sweet Caroline which was performed twice.

This was the first time I went on a trip like this. None of my friends wanted to see this show, so I treated myself. I had a good time. I met a few new, nice people. The bus driver was great. Very skilled making his way down those NY streets. He dropped us off in front of the theatre and picked us up in same place. Our guides were very helpful and picked a nice place for lunch. The food was abundant and delicious. I had orchestra seats and the show was fabulous. The theatre was smaller and made for an intimate feel. I would do another trip like this again.
