About this trip

Lifestyle Planet Earth and Maui Mobile Yoga present:

The Presence of Nature: A Contemplative, Ecology Retreat

at Camp Olowalu, Maui, Hawaii

This nature immersion retreat is an opportunity to regenerate as you deeply immerse yourself in the profound presence of Nature in a gorgeous oceanfront campground near Olowalu Canyon in West Maui.

This is a semi-silent retreat, wherein a portion of each day is dedicated to deep listening. You will be invited to unplug from electronics and take a break from your ordinary routine so you can align with your own higher vision for yourself and the world while consciously cultivating vital lifestyle practices to return home with.

Join us and recharge your inner ecosystem using a comprehensive approach with contemplative practices such as mindfulness meditation, hatha yoga, somatics, sound healing, ritual, deep ecology, and circle processes while eating natural, locally sourced cuisine and bathing in healing ocean waters.

November marks the beginning of the Humpback Whale season. As we welcome back the whales out on the water with kayak and SUP, you will practice expanding your field of awareness to include the greater community of All of Life and develop a sense of profound belonging as a kindred member of your ecological community.

The daily retreat program consisting of contemplative practices includes:

  • 3 daily plant-based, locally-sourced meals prepared by Chef Kyra Bramble.
  • Group lodging of 3 - 4 in oceanfront cabins
  • Alkalynize with Kangen drinking water
  • Partial silent retreat
  • Gentle Alignment based Yoga, and movement practices
  • Walking and seated meditation
  • Beginning level yoga and meditation instructions
  • Circle time
  • Contemplative nature processes on land and sea
  • Deep listening
  • Star gazing
  • Ecological Literacy
  • Journaling
  • Kayak and SUP excursion to welcome the Humpback Whales on their annual return to Maui

Featuring Chef Kyra Bramble

My training began with a classic French cuisine Le Cordon Blue degree, but I also have studied many healing styles of cooking including Holistic Nutrition with Hawthorn University, Ayurvedic Chef Training with Hale Pule, Raw Foods with various chefs, and Wildcrafting with Earth Medicine institute. It means a great deal to me to be versatile and open-minded in my cooking and energy, and I love merging healthy cuisine with rich invigorating flavors – creating a new style of health food that doesn’t lack in depth or satisfaction.

Maryann ROSE Sound Journeys Joins us!

Tapping into age-old techniques, Rose employs clear and rose quartz singing bowls, chimes, gongs, and tingsha bells during sound healing sessions that are designed to reduce tension, anxiety, and pain while increasing a sense of spiritual wellbeing and connection to the intelligence of all of life.
