We'll begin with a movement practice, followed by a breathwork intensive, and complete our day with alternating cold plunge and heat exposure for an invigorating and restorative therapeutic session.
Breathwork is an umbrella term for Conscious Connection breath. This breathwork technique activates the brain in ways certain psychoactive drugs would. The practice is mood elevating and has been demonstrated to release stuck emotions and physical pain. Breathwork puts the practitioner into a state of deep and vivid meditation.
It teaches releasing control and surrendering to the present moment.
Participants will learn to cold plunge safely in conjunction with alternating heat for maximum benefits.
Cold plunging bolsters immunity, nervous system function, and much more.
Sessions are 9-12pm
Breathwork can result in intense physical and emotional release. Therefore, it is not advised for persons with a history of cardiovascular disease, including angina or heart attack, high blood pressure, glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, significant recent physical injuries or surgery.
Breathwork is not advised for persons with severe mental illness or seizure disorders or for persons using major medications. It is also unsuitable for anyone with a personal or family history of aneurysms. Pregnant women are advised against practicing Breathwork without first consulting and getting approval from their primary care physician. Persons with asthma should bring their inhaler and consult with their primary care physician.
Cold Plunging is not advised for those with heart issues. Please consult your physician regarding ALL medications. You assume all responsibility and will be asked to sign a waiver upon arrival.
