Be immersed in the charm and culture of the first French settlement in North America from its’ time mellowed cobblestone streets and ornate Baroque architecture to the stately Chateau Frontenac and the magnificent Place Royal.  Go on an exhilarating whale watch, get lucky at the casino and take a sunset dinner cruise on Lake Champlain…the fun is non-stop on this guided tour.

Depart on a journey that takes us north into the St Lawrence River Valley and the city of Quebec, Canada. Our hotel is the beautiful 4-star Palace Royal. Dinner this evening is included in the Steak House Restaurant at the Palace Royal. 

We will meet up with a local guide who will take us on a grand tour of Quebec. We will see the Quebec Citadel, stroll the Boardwalk at Dufferin Terrace by the Chateau Frontenac and visit Place Royal. Visit the Plains of Abraham and the ornate Quebec Basilica. Shop, dine, and explore. Our sightseeing continues with a visit to St Anne De Beaupre, outdoor bread ovens and Montmorency Falls. After our tour we will head north to La Malbaie and check into our 5-star hotel, the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu. Dinner is included this evening at the hotel.

This morning we continue north to Baie-Sainte Catherine where we will board the AML Grand Fleuve for a 3-hour whale watch. Located at the confluence of the St Lawrence River and the Saguenay Fjord, Baie-Sainte Catherine is one of the two main entrances for some of the most beautiful whale watching sights in the world! A box lunch is included while you are on board. After, we will head back to the hotel where you will have the remainder of the evening on your own. Take advantage of the Casino De Charlevoix, which offers games for all players, and located on the grounds of the Fairmont.

With a quick stop at duty free, we bid bonjour et adieu to Quebec City, La Malbaie and Canada! This afternoon we will arrive at our hotel in Burlington, VT. We set sail this evening on Lake Champlain as we enjoy our dinner aboard the Spirit of Ethan Allen. 

After breakfast, included at the hotel, depart Burlington full of wonderful Quebec memories.
