Arrive in Bozeman by mid-afternoon and begin your journey with a group dinner at The Murray Bar & Grill in Livingston. Afterward, we’ll enjoy a stunning drive through Paradise Valley — one of Montana’s most scenic corridors — as we head toward Gardiner, just outside Yellowstone’s north entrance. Settle into our cozy VRBO, unpack, and join the group for a dessert board, introductions, and orientation. This warm, welcoming evening sets the tone for the journey ahead.
After a relaxed breakfast, we’ll explore the Mammoth Hot Springs Terraces, then stop at the Sheepeater Cliffs and Obsidian Cliff before walking the trails of Norris Geyser Basin. A scenic picnic lunch awaits us before heading to Lamar Valley. The evening ends with a classic Yellowstone experience — the Roosevelt Old West Cookout, where we’ll enjoy a wagon ride and steak dinner under the stars.
We start with a morning soak at Yellowstone Hot Springs, followed by a scenic drive toward Hayden Valley for wildlife viewing. You’ll visit the bubbling landscape of Mud Volcano and enjoy a picnic lunch near Yellowstone’s Grand Canyon. That afternoon, we’ll visit North and South Rim overlooks and return for a cozy pizza night and optional card-making or creative downtime. Stargazing is available for those who wish to soak up Yellowstone’s nighttime beauty.
Travel the stunning Chief Joseph Scenic Byway over Dead Indian Pass and Sunlight Creek Bridge on our way to Cody, WY. Enjoy lunch at the Proud Cut Saloon and explore the renowned Buffalo Bill Center of the West, where you can choose from five museum galleries. We’ll return via the park’s scenic East Entrance, stopping for photos at Yellowstone Lake, Sylvan Pass, and Fishing Bridge. A late dinner awaits back in Gardiner to close out this big, beautiful day.
Today we journey through the geyser basin, beginning with a walk at the Lower Geyser Basin and Firehole River features. We’ll have lunch at the Old Faithful Inn (or nearby options), then explore meaningful storytelling stops along the Firehole: Mattie Culver’s Grave, the Nez Perce Trail Marker, and Chinese Laundry Site. Our final park walk is at the colorful Artist Paint Pots. We’ll head to Livingston for a farewell dinner and check in to the Fairfield Inn.
Enjoy a relaxed continental breakfast and say goodbye to the sisterhood you’ve built. Christine will provide drop-offs at the Bozeman Airport or local hotels. Guests with late flights can optionally visit the Museum of the Rockies or enjoy time in downtown Bozeman. Our services conclude at 2:00 PM — but the memories last much longer.
