You're the woman everyone relies on. The one who remembers birthdays, answers messages, keeps working, keeps smiling.
Keeps going.
What you don't know is what it feels like to stop.
To fully be present.
This retreat is about the exhale underneath all of that, the one your nervous system has been waiting years for permission to take.
This retreat doesn’t end at departure.

Here’s an example day
6:45 am: Herbal Tea & Quiet Arrival
Wake up to birdsong and soft mountain air. Begin the day slowly with herbal tea from the finca garden as the sun rises over the Costa Rican highlands. Just arriving in your body.
7:00 am: Somatic Morning Practice
A guided nervous system regulation session with gentle movement, breath, grounding touch, and embodied awareness. We soften tension, awaken sensation, and create space to feel what’s present, safely and without pressure.
8:30 am: Nourishing Breakfast
Fresh fruit, local ingredients, homemade meals and slow conversation around the breakfast table.
10:00 am: Horse Connection Session
Meet the horses in presence. Through groundwork and liberty exercises, we explore trust, boundaries, co-regulation, and authentic connection. No riding experience needed. The horses respond only to what is real and mirror what words often cannot reach.
12:30 pm: Lunch & Rest
A shared farm-to-table lunch followed by spacious free time. Rest by the pool, journal, nap, or simply watch the horses graze in the pasture.
3:30 pm: Integration / Nature Immersion
Depending on the day:
- guided jungle walk
- tea meditation ceremony
- hot springs excursion
- group coaching circle
- rest & reflection by the horses
Every activity is intentionally designed to support integration.
6:30 pm: Dinner Together
A grounding shared dinner with nourishing food, sunset light, and time to land together after the day.
8:00 pm: Evening Ritual / evening off
We close with a gentle evening practice, breathwork, guided meditation, nervous system practices or a fire circle under the stars.
Then: deep rest. Sleep with the sounds of the jungle around you and your nervous system a little softer than the day before.
Every day is slightly different and shaped around the group’s rhythm.
This is an example day. Please note that each day can be designed how YOUR nervous system needs it to be, so whenever your body is asking for more sleep, feel free give your body what it needs.
Your journey begins before you step on the plane.
You will receive a 1:1 digital deep personal assessment that explores:
Your main stress patterns and triggers
Your dominant nervous system responses
Your relationship to money, control and rest
Your current life rhythm and energy patterns
From this, you receive personalized somatic preparation practices, tailored so your system begins to soften before you arrive.
This allows you to arrive in transition already.
1. Sensing We begin by simply noticing, what's tense, what's numb, what's asking to be felt. No fixing yet. Just contact.
2. Breath Long, expansive exhales. Somatic yin yoga that holds shape long enough for your fascia, not just your mind, to believe it's safe to let go.
3. Movement Slow, unforced movement guided by the nervous system, not by performance. This is where the body starts trusting itself again.
4. Contact Time with your matched horse, grounded, wordless, unbiased feedback. Horses don't respond to your explanations. They respond to what's actually true in your body, which is exactly why this works.
5. Meaning Integration in circle, in journaling, in rest. What shifted. What you're taking home. What "regulated" actually feels like now that you've felt it once.
Here, the horses are your co-regulators — not tools for entertainment.
Your stay includes:
• Presence-based interaction with highly trained, happy horses — responding to what is real, not performance.
• Groundwork and liberty work to build trust, connection and non-verbal communication.
• Hike together experiences through the Costa Rican highlands with our horses — a chance to move together in varied terrain and quietude.
• Theory sessions on partnership: deepening your understanding of communication, boundary and trust work.
They are embodied encounters: leading without force, being seen without performing, and feeling where you hold and where you soften.
The horses at Finca Soley are well-cared for, regularly trained, and live a balanced life — comfortable in pasture, respected in their work, and chosen for their ability to offer meaningful connection.
Lari, Founder of AYA SOMA Method
I didn't come to this work through theory. I came to it through my own nervous system, and years spent learning how bodies actually release what talking alone can't reach.
My training spans Body Talk (Sheina Raskin), trauma-sensitive nervous system work (Danny Heitmann), Somatic Yin and Fascia work (Carlos Romero), and Reiki. Out of that, I built AYA SOMA, my own method, working across five layers: sensing, breath, movement, contact, meaning. It's the framework behind everything on this retreat.
What I offer is body-based, trauma-informed, and honest about its scope, space held with real skill.
This experience unfolds at Finca Soley, a carefully curated natural environment designed for regulation:
7 days / 6 nights on a private Costa Rican property
Beautiful, calming accommodations
Nourishing, grounding food
Small, intimate group
Everything organized for you
Luxury here is not excess.
Luxury is being held so deeply that your system can let go.
You are highly functioning but internally exhausted
You hold constant underlying tension in your body
You’ve done mindset and all the work, but your body still feels on edge
You long for calm, but don’t know how to access it
You are ready to start listening
You deeply know that the Year of the fire horse is here to transform you deeply
Each activity is chosen to support regulation — not stimulation.
Your stay includes:
• Farm Tour – exploring the land, medicinal plants and the philosophy of the finca
• Guided Jungle Hike – slow sensory immersion in Costa Rican nature
• Tea Meditation Ceremony – grounding ritual for stillness and integration
• Visit to Luxury Hot Springs – deep parasympathetic activation in warm mineral water
• Quiet time by the pool overlooking the mountains
These are extensions of the somatic process — helping your system move from activation into restoration.
