Welcome to Ireland! Arrive at Shannon Airport, where you will be greeted by your
friendly and knowledgeable tour driver/guide. AŌer clearing customs, we’ll make our way to Durty Nelly’s, a historic and beloved Irish pub that has welcomed travelers for over 400 years, nestled at the foot of Bunratty Castle. Enjoy an Irish breakfast before taking a scenic drive to Kinsale, where we will be based for the next three nights. We will check into The Trident Hotel, an elegant, harbor-front property in the heart of Kinsale, offering breathtaking views nd a warm Irish welcome. Spend the aŌernoon unwinding or taking a leisurely stroll along the waterfront before
gathering for a welcome dinner with your fellow travelers.
DINNER AND OVERNIGHT: TRIDENT HOTEL, KINSALE (B, D)
After breakfast, we’ll travel to the charming harbor town of Cobh, where we’ll meet Dr. Michael Martin, a renowned historian, for a fascinaƟng guided walk along the Titanic Trail. Cobh was the final port of call for the ill-fated Titanic in 1912. Next, we visit the Midleton Distillery, home to Ireland’s most celebrated whiskeys, including Jameson, Redbreast, and Midleton Very Rare. Enjoy a tour through the distillery, learn about the art of whiskey-making, and taste. We will then visit the Kindred Spirits Monument, commemorating the Choctaw Nation's generosity during the Great Irish Famine. In 1847, the Choctaw people raised $170 (worth thousands today) to help the starving as a thank-you to the Irish for assisting them during the Trail of Tears, when they were forced to leave their lands and march 500 miles in terrible conditions. These remarkable acts of kindness created a lasƟng bond between the two naƟons. We will then return to Kinsale for an evening at leisure.

After breakfast, join local historians Don Herlihy and Barry Moloney for an engaging guided tour of Kinsale, one of Ireland’s most picturesque and historic coastal towns. As we wander through its narrow streets, we’ll hear stories of battles, pirates, and its time as an essential naval stronghold. The afternoon is yours to explore at your own pace. Kinsale is known as the ‘Gourmet Capital of Ireland’, so take this opportunity to indulge in a leisurely lunch at one of its many award-winning seafood restaurants.

After breakfast, we will make our way to Ringfinnan Garden of Remembrance, a poignant tribute to the 343 firefighters who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks,. Next, we’ll visit the legendary Blarney Castle, built nearly 600 years ago by Cormac McCarthy, one of Ireland’s greatest chietains. Take the opportunity to climb to the top of the castle and kiss the world-famous Blarney Stone, said to grant the “gift of eloquence.” Continue to Killarney, a lively town known for its breathtaking landscapes and warm hospitality. Check into the elegant Great Southern Hotel before gathering for dinner at a local favorite.

After breakfast, we embark on an unforgettable journey around the Dingle Peninsula, described as “the most beautiful place on earth” by National Geographic. This rugged coastline boasts awe-inspiring ocean views, golden beaches, and lush rolling hills. We’ll stop at Slea Head, Ireland’s westernmost point. Visit the Blasket Centre, a cultural heritage center dedicated to the extraordinary people of the Blasket Islands, whose unique way of life and storytelling remain an essential part of Irish literary history. Later, enjoy a tour and tasting at the Killarney
Brewing & Distillery, known for its craft beers and artisanal whiskey.

OVERNIGHT: THE GREAT SOUTHERN HOTEL, KILLARNEY (B)
After breakfast, experience Killarney National Park in a way that has delighted visitors for centuries—aboard a traditional jaunting car. As we ride through the park, we’ll visit Ross Castle, a beauƟfully restored 15th-century fortress, before boarding a lake cruise to admire the majesƟc scenery of the Lakes of Killarney. Along the way, watch out for white-tailed eagles and sika deer. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure before gathering for a group dinner at Harrow, an intimate restaurant renowned for its farm-to-table Irish cuisine.
OVERNIGHT: THE GREAT SOUTHERN HOTEL, KILLARNEY (B,D)
After breakfast, we set off for County Clare, stopping enroute at the Foynes Flying
Boat Museum. This interactive museum tells the remarkable story of transatlantic
aviation in the 1930s and 40s, featuring a full-scale replica of a Boeing 314 Flying
Boat. Foynes is also the birthplace of Irish coffee, first created here in the 1940s to
warm up weary travelers. Enjoy a perfectly crafted Irish coffee, then savor lunch at
O’Regan’s Bar before continuing to the stunning Armada Hotel, perched along the
Wild Atlantic Way.
DINNER AND OVERNIGHT: ARMADA HOTEL, CLARE (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we will visit the Cliffs of Moher, rising 700 feet above the Atlantic Ocean. Take in breathtaking views that stretch as far as Galway Bay and the Aran Islands. Afterwards, we’ll stop for lunch at McCann’s Pub in Doolin, a village famous for its lively traditional Irish music scene, before returning to our hotel.

Sadly , our adventures are over and we‛re very sorry to see you go! Your coach driver will get you to Shannon Airport in plenty of time for you to check in for your flight and clear customs and immigration, avoiding the long lines that you can meet you in America.
