Today we go North to visit the highest cliff face in Europe. This is one of the most beautiful places in Ireland with its breath-taking views on route. There is a viewing platform for you to just stand there and take in the beauty or you can walk up and take a cliff walk. We will then visit a small coastal town of Donegal with its little craft shops to explore.

Today we bring you to some local beaches. The first one is Strandhill.  This is the location for the international surfing competitions and you will see why when you get there. High waves and white horses.

We then go across the bay to Rosses Point that is much different with its calm waters. The views are amazing too! 

We then return to the hotel to get ready for the dance workshop with our local dance expert.

Weather permitting we are going to a place called Carrowkeel on the tip of a mountain to visit tombs that pre-date the pyramids. We then go to Arigna  where we will tour a coal mind and learn how life was for the people who once worked there. 

We then visit Lough Key Forest Park where you can experience forest walks, tunnels, canopy walks, and you will also see the ruins of an 11th century castle sitting on its own Island.

Today we go West, our first stop is the Museum of Country life. Here we can explore and learn how people lived in Ireland long ago. You will see how they cooked, worked, socialized and learned. 

We then take a very scenic drive to Kylemore Abbey. This stunning house is nestled on the shores of a beautiful lake. The house has a long history and you will also be able to visit the Victorian Walled Garden too!

We take the day off today to explore the little town we are staying in. Some lovely walks and there is also a bus service you can use if you want to explore Sligo town or other places. 

We have these lovely ladies on both sides of your guide who will come in and teach you Irish dance steps in the evening.

We explore Galway city today, with its cobbled stone streets and music everywhere. There is a great museum where you can view maps of Galway as it is today and using a touch screen you can see how parts of the map will bring you back to what Galway was a few 100 years ago. There are musicians of every type on the streets that you can enjoy and many great shops too!

Then we go into an Irish speaking part of the country west of Galway to visit a Craft Village. There you will see little stores where you have the craft men and women working and creating beautiful items for you to buy, you will see artists like knitters, weavers, glass cutting, instrument makers, jewelers and bakers, you might also hear them speak to each other in our native language (Irish)

We leave the North West today and return to Dublin. We bring you to the National Leprechaun Museum where you might even catch one of the wee folk, Then if you want to explore Dublin and go shopping we drop you off and pick you up at a designated time and place. Then we bring you to Fitzpatricks Castle for our last night in Ireland. 

This castle dates back to the 17th century, and it has all the old world charm of an Irish castle but all the modern con's of a 4 star hotel. There is an indoor swimming pool there if you want to get there early to enjoy it and it is also 5 min's walk from the beach. So it is up to you, if you want to stay exploring Dublin that is fine but if you wish to come to the Castle early and enjoy that, we will be happy to bring you there.

We return you to the airport today, but we do not say goodbye, but "until we meet again, have a safe flight". We hope you will return to Ireland with Secret Ireland Tours again soon.
