The all pervasive sound of silence. But this sound, for most, is drowned out by the clanging of this ever-changing world. The sounds of our hopes, our dreams, our fears, our ideas. Our minds long for silence, but have instead become addicted to grabbing, fixing, and understanding. During this intensive, we will take time everyday to listen. We will work on the suspension of our thoughts and ideas, and enter into a state of meditation.
Meditation is the absence of manipulation. It is total acceptance, it is letting go, and it happens when we stop doing what we “should” do and instead allow ourselves to be led by the wisdom of our heart.
During this Sadhana intensive we will be practicing 2 short mantras, followed by a short pranayama, and then a longer seated meditation. Students are encouraged to meditate 20 min morning and evening during the course. We will meet 3 times a week on zoom to support each other, discuss, and practice.
If you are looking for a supportive meditation community, then this intensive is great for you! All sessions will be recorded and are accessible for a week after the live session. Meditators are encouraged to show up for live sessions, but can watch the recorded session if they are unable to attend live.
Schedule: Live sessions will take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 10am NYC time. Please note we will not have Saturday sessions on April 23rd and April 30th.
