This trekking trip include all highlights of Fann mountains designed for trekkers of all levels of ability, some of whom want a serious challenge. The most challenging and fascinating targets are Chimtarga mountains pass (4750m), giving an incredible high-altitude experience without the need for specialist climbing skills and Big Alo lakes visit which is in our opinion considered as one of the most beautiful lake in Fann mountains. Each of our high-altitude treks is led by a mountain trek and begins with an acclimatisation period in lower altitude mountains, and thorough training sessions on how to use safety equipment. Donkeys and porters will carry your baggage, leaving you free to enjoy the journey, but you will still have to be physically fit in order to make it to the top.

Arriving in Dushanbe — which means “Monday” in Tajik — you’ll learn about Tajikistan past and present. This informative city tour includes the National Museum and the impressive Hissor Fortress, as well as more modern sites such as Rudaki Park (with its colourful monuments) and the Navruz Hall. Accommodation: 4* Atlas Hotel 

After the breakfast, will be transferred to Iskanderkul. Lunch in Sarvoda. Afternoon you will be enjoying Iskanderkul lake view and visit the local Niagara waterfall. We will be transferred to Saratog village to overnight. Accommodation: guesthouse 

Today, you will have more relaxing day with short hikes around Saratog village or you can hike to the Alexander's hat ~3300m. Accommodation: guesthouse 

After the breakfast start your journey to Artuch. 4 hours drive through Anzob pass. Lunch on the way and stop at the Rudaki Mausoleum, On arrival to Artuch you will have some time to explore village and get familiar with country side lifestyle. Altitude: 1800m Accommodation: Guesthouse (1800m) 

The donkeys arrive in the morning to carry the luggage. After having a breakfast and short instruction by your guide, we start 6 hours trekking. Overnight at shore of Bibijanat Lake. Altitude: 2850m. (5-6 hours, 7 km, +650m) 

In the morning, we start ascend to Alaudin pass (3860 m, 10 km, ~6 hrs, +960 m). The beautiful panorama of the surrounding peaks and lakes will be seen from the top of pass. Descend to a campsite by the Alaudin lake. Altitude: 2770m. 

After breakfast at shore of Alaudin lake, we slowly start ascend to the Mutnoe lake (3520m) which takes about 4 hours, 5 km. On the way, we enjoy the view to the peaks and small but very beautiful lake – Piala where we stop for the lunch. Porter with donkeys unload our luggage in Mutnoe Lake. (4hrs, 5km, +750m) 

The first challenging day starts early in the morning. Further, donkeys can not go with us, so we hire porters. We start moving toward Chimtarga pass (4750m). The path goes along glacier. We set our camp before the top of the pass, on the altitude 4560 m, 3km, 6 hours, +980m) 

Early in the morning we start trekking to the Chimtarga Pass (4750 m) and then continue to the right Zindon gorge. We set our campsite at 3100m at the shore of the Big Alo lake perhaps the most beautiful lake in Fann mountains. (14 km, 6-7 hours, +250m, - 960m) Accommodation: tent 

Early in the morning we continue descend in the Zindon gorge along the Amshut river passing by small Alo lake (2340m). Overnight in Archmaydan river valley. Altitude: 1780m. Accommodation: tent 

In the morning we hike along Khumorigun river and camp on the foot of the Tovassang pass (3305m). Altitude: 2900 (12km, +1200m, 5-6 hrs). Accommodation: tent 

After the breakfast we continue the last trekking day by trekking over Tavassang pass to the 7the lake (Hazorchashma lake) where we will camp at the shore of the 7th lake.

Early the morning we meet our driver and move to Dushanbe (6 hours). On the way we can see other 6 lakes. Afternoon you can check in at your hotel and enjoy your soft bed or do some shopping in the city.
