We will do a Beer and Food Tour.

We will walk in the footsteps of 230 Jehovah's Witnesses during the Death March from Sachsenhausen. We will walk part of this Death March and hear the story of these men and women who marched the same way as we will do.

We will stop at the "Forest of Below" where the Jehovah's Witnesses stayed for 4 days.

After this tour, you will be proud of these courageous men and women.

Note: You should be able to walk about 5 miles in one day (7.5 km). We will walk in different portions of the tour.  If you are not able to walk much, you can stay on the bus and will be able to meet us at the monument for commentary.

We will visit this magnificent city, with its rich history dating back to the 15th century, residence of kings and royalty. From the Napoleonic Wars, World War I, and World War II to the Iron Courtship, you will learn details of Daniel's prophecy about the king of the North and the South.

A great cultural center and one of the greenest cities in Europe. Dresden suffered great destruction during World War II; However, the city has since been rebuilt and is home to many historical monuments and attractions.

We will continue our drive to Prague and stay at the Hotel Grand Majestic Prague. 

Prague is a fascinating city, the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic. Great and unique architecture and one of the most important cities of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. His story is also part of the fulfillment of Daniel's prophecy. 

We will walk through the city, where you will have the opportunity to see the Tetragrammaton, the Astronomical Clock in the main square, the clock was first installed in 1410, making it the third oldest astronomical clock in the world and the oldest clock still in operation. Additionally, we will explore Prague Castle, built in the 9th century and is the largest ancient castle in the world.

We will leave Prague after breakfast, heading towards the Polish city of Krakow. But 43 kilometers before reaching Krakow we will stop for a few hours to make one of the most impressive visits of this trip: the Auschwitz Concentration Camp.

Many things have been written about this place, but nothing is comparable to visiting in person one of the most shocking places on the planet. Due to the persecution that Jehovah's Witnesses suffered during the Nazi regime, our publications have made dozens of references to this site. This paragraph from g85 6/8 pages 11-12 serves as an example.:

Polish sociologist Anna Pawełczyńska, who survived the infamous Auschwitz death camp, comments on their firm faith and integrity in the face of inhuman cruelty. In her book Values and Violence in Auschwitz, she declared that Jehovah's Witnesses were “a strong ideological force and won their battle against Nazism.” She called them an “island of tireless resistance that existed in the heart of a terrified nation.” And she added: “With that same undaunted spirit they carried out their role in the Auschwitz camp. They managed to gain the respect of their fellow prisoners [...], prison officials, and even SS officers. “Everyone knew that no Jehovah’s Witness would execute a command that was against their religious beliefs and convictions.” She concluded: “Jehovah's Witnesses engaged in passive resistance for their belief, which was against all war and violence.”

The visit to Auschwitz will be the main activity of that day, after which we will continue the trip to Krakow, where we will stay at the Galaxy Hotel, have dinner together, and have some time to walk.

Krakow is a beautiful city in the heart of Ancient Europe.

Since we would travel days before, the day will be much relaxed, there will be no scheduled activities, so that everyone can decide what to do and take the opportunity to walk and rest. But for those who want some activity, we will propose something very interesting, which cannot be missing in the life of any Christian: attending one of our meetings in person. There are English congregation meetings nearby where we will be staying.

So, anyone who wishes can attend the meeting that morning and meet our dear brothers and sisters from Poland. It is possible that we can even spend the rest of the day with some of them and enjoy a beautiful day of rest and spiritual recreation.

After breakfast, we will travel together to a fascinating and unique place in the world: The Wieliczka Salt Mines.

These mines, located in the Polish city of Wieliczka, have been exploited without interruption since the 13th century, and even today they continue to produce table salt. They reach a depth of 327 meters and their length exceeds three hundred kilometers. They are nicknamed "the underground salt cathedral of Poland."

They are one of the oldest active salt mines in the world, and include a 3.5 kilometer tourist route, which of course we will do, which contains statues of mythical and historical figures, sculpted in the salt rock by the miners. Even the crystals in the chandeliers are made of salt. There are also chambers and chapels dug into the salt, an underground lake, and exhibits illustrating the history of salt mining. It receives about 800,000 visitors a year, and in 1978 they were declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

After this visit, and after lunch, there's more time to take a city tour of what we have not yet seen in Krakow. Let's not forget that we will be in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. We will be able to enjoy its well-preserved medieval center and its Jewish quarter, as well as the old city, surrounded by Planty Park and the remains of the medieval walls of the city, which has its center in the Market Square. In this square are the Cloth Hall, a Renaissance-era trading post, and St. Mary's Basilica, a 14th-century Gothic church.

Then we will go to bed, since in the morning we leave for the last point of our trip.

Warsaw's wide variety of architecture reflects the city's long and turbulent history, from Gothic churches and neoclassical palaces to Soviet-era tower blocks and modern skyscrapers. The old city was restored after serious damage in World War II. Its core is the Market Square, with pastel-colored buildings and open-air cafes. The Warsaw Mermaid Monument in its center is a symbol of the city.

We will eat together and take a City Tour where we will enjoy all of these places, including a memorial that marks the site of the infamous Warsaw Ghetto, where the Nazis sent hundreds of thousands of Jews targeted for extermination during World War II. We also cannot forget that, during the Nazi occupation, almost 85% of the city was reduced to rubble and 700,000 people lost their lives.

That day we will spend the night in Warsaw at the Radisson Blu Sobieski Hotel, leaving our clothes prepared for the visit we have the next day…

The best way to end it is with a spiritual activity, so that day we will all visit together the Polish Branch of Jehovah's Witnesses, located on the outskirts of Warsaw.

It is a small branch, but with a lot of charm. We will see some interesting things, such as the model they have of Noah's Ark, or some ancient biblical manuscripts. But above all we will be able to meet loyal brothers and sisters, some of whom lived through turbulent years during the years after World War II. Without a doubt it will be a wonderful and unforgettable day.

Back in Warsaw, everyone will have time to walk around the city and do the last shopping of the trip. And above all, prepare for what will be a very emotional event: the farewell dinner. For almost two weeks we will have shared many things together, we will have laughed and we will have cried, we will have strengthened our bonds of brotherhood, and now comes the time to say goodbye, or perhaps just to say “see you soon.”
