Our March 2020 trip was beyond expectations. Certified Africa certainly delivered in giving us a full scope yet personalized experience of culture, relaxation and education. The Certified Africa team in Ghana was personable, attentive to our needs, and professional. I am forever grateful and blessed that your team was our portal to experience Ghana.
I enjoyed seeing the historical sites like the "Door of No Return," Nkrumah's museum, Independence Square, the Palace Museum, Kamasi (where kente cloth is made) and the local markets. The hotel accommodations with its African motif was different and interesting as well as the traditional Ghanaian dishes served at breakfast. The venue for the New Year's Eve celebration was good and everybody was excited about celebrating 2020 in Ghana. Most of all the group was very congenial as we travel in a comfortable air conditioned bus throughout Ghana. I extended by trip to Togo and visited the VooDoo market, the python temple, and in Benin, the "Door of No Return," and Ganvie (the city on stilts) built in 1717.
Our group was great to travel with as we visited many of the historical sites including the "Door of No Return" in Ghana and Benin, and shopped at the local markets for traditional souvenirs, fabrics and gifts for family and friends. A small group went to Kamasi (where kente cloth is made) and toured the exhibits on the Ashanti people. Finally I visited Togo with its various religious buildings and ethnic groups visible along the country side road between Ghana and Benin.
This was an amazing trip!! I highly recommend Certified Africa!
This was a lifechanging experience. The organizers are incredible. They make you feel like you have come home and put so much detail into every experience. Each day I was blown away and changed in some way. I highly recommend booking with Certified Africa.

There are not even enough words to describe the amazing trip my Husband and I had with Certified Africa here in Ghana. They answered all our questions and concerns ahead of time and provided all the necessary information for travel to Africa. Once on the ground they gave us days full of culture and love from the Certified Africa staff and the local people of Ghana. If you want to experience Ghana not just Accra. Book with Certified Africa. Thank you again Nii and Kristin and Team for all your hard work. No detail was left out. Felicia Parsons 2020 NYE in the Motherland Trip
