The village of Throckmorton has been there for over 1,000 years, and few families can point to an unbroken, documented line from an Anglo-Saxon farmstead to the political and religious drama of early modern England to emigration to the New World to today.
Fewer still can walk the actual land they worked, visit the houses they lived in, and stand in the churches where they prayed, got married and were buried in. And only you can travel to England and be greeted by your own family in your ancient family home.
This trip will be John Gray’s sixth and last trip. He is the keeper of the Throckmorton ancestors’ stories, and he will bring them to life this one last time.
Next May, there will be some special additions including a day trip to Stonehenge, a tasting of English wines, and a visit to IWM Duxford.
For early arrival in Stratford, the hotel is $295 extra per night per room.
There is a $400 non-refundable deposit due at booking. (Per person.)
