Our tour guide will come to pick you up along with the private vehicle. Firstly you will be visiting the UNESCO world heritage site Kathmandu Durbar Square where you can observe the typical wood-carved temples and buildings reflecting the ancient Kathmandu city and then you will be heading towards Swyambhunath- the monkey temple where you can observe the religious harmony and tolerance between the Buddhist religion and Hindu religion along with that enjoy the panoramic view of Kathmandu city and the Himalaya ranges from here.

After that, you will be visiting the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the biggest pilgrimage sites for the Hindu religion people in south-east Asia, explore the surroundings and you can observe the ritual body cremating ceremony process of the Hindu people at the bank of the holy Bagmati river and explore the surroundings. Then you will go to visit another UNESCO world heritage site Boudhanath Stupa. It was built in 600A.D. and is the only one of a kind of stupa reflecting Buddhism in the world. Explore the surroundings of Boudhanath Stupa and after completing your sightseeing seen get back to the hotel and rest.

 The trip starts with a drive from Kathmandu to Kerung, please note: on the way we cross the Nepal-China border. Get ready early in the morning as our staff will pick you up from your hotel to start the drive along the mountain road headed towards the Nepal - China border. On the way, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the countryside and remote villages in Nepal. Once we arrive at the border, complete all necessary formalities in Nepal and China immigration before we continue our drive to Kerung Town.

 After having your breakfast, we continue our drive as we head towards Tingri. Along the road, sit back and enjoy the beautiful scenery and snow-capped mountains. As you cross the Tongla pass (5100 m), you will be mesmerized by the mountain vista of the Himalayan ranges.

 This morning, you'll be traveling to Rongbuk which takes around 3 to 4 hours. In Rongbuk, we will visit the Rongbuk Monastery which was built by a local lama in 1899 and is famous for being the highest temple (in altitude) in the world. Walking forward from Rongbuk Monastery, you will see the famous Rongbuk Glacier Zone (which is the largest among all the hundreds of glaciers formed around Mt. Everest. In the evening, view a majestic sunset of the Golden Everest peak.

 Today is a special day as you'll be at the foot of Mt. Everest. You can leave your luggage in the guest house where we spend the night and hike for 3 kilometers to take a bus to Everest Base Camp. Enjoy your time in Base Camp and return to Rongbuk. After returning to Rongbuk, collect your luggage before we'll head towards Tingri via the same route.

 Our destination for today is Shigatse, the second-largest city in Tibet. Early in the morning, we travel to Shigatse. The road is full of turns and twists so if you tend to get car sickness try to sleep or get some medicine. On reaching Shigatse, check in to the hotel and get ready for some sightseeing. In Shigatse, visit the official seat of the Panchen Lama - Tashilhunpho monastery, which is also the largest and most influential Gelug monastery in the Shigatse prefecture. Here, you will see a giant statue of the Future Buddha, the largest of its kind on Earth. The statue is decorated with precious pearls, turquoise, corals, and ambers. After our visit, return to the hotel and have some rest.

 After breakfast, you'll travel to Sakya. On reaching Sakya, we'll visit the Sakya monastery, which is the center of the Sakya sect. In Tibetan, the word Sakya means "gray soil", which refers to the weathered gray earth on Bonbori Hill where the monastery is located. Sakya monastery is famed as the 'Second Dunhuang' due to its colossal collection of numerous Tibetan Buddhist scriptures, murals, and Thangkas. Afterward, we'll head towards Gyantse to stay the night.

 In the morning, we'll visit the mysterious Palcho monastery where three of the important Tibetan Buddhist sects coexist in harmony. The monastery is followed by Kunbum, which is 35 meters high and has 76 small chapels displaying over a hundred images of Kriyatantras. Kundum is believed to be the largest such structure in Tibet. Lastly, we will visit the Gyantse Dzong fortress, which was used by the Tibetan army to fight against the British army in the early 20th century. Later on, we'll leave Gyantse and head towards Lhasa. Along the road, you will be able to see the beautiful Karola glacier on the left side of the road. A bit further we'll make a quick stop to admire the beauty of the holy Yamdrok Lake, which is the largest fresh lake (675 sq. m.) in the northern Himalayan mountains. On reaching Lhasa, check in to the hotel and have some rest.

 After having your breakfast, we begin exploring Lhasa by visiting the beautiful Petal and Norbulingka Palaces, better known as the winter palace and summer palace, respectively. Built in the 17th century, Petal Palace proved amazing views of the entire city and it houses the private quarters of the Dalai Lama. Norbulingka Palace houses what is considered to be the largest man-made garden in Tibet. The next sight we'll visit is the Tibet Traditional Hospital, which is the center for the treatment, training, research, and production of Tibetan medicine.

 After breakfast, we will leave Lhasa and drive to Lake Namsto, one of the four holy lakes of Tibet and also the highest saline lake in the world. On the way, you can view some of the snow-capped Nyenchen Thanglha mountain ranges. Furthermore, if you travel in the summer, you will be able to see the nomads with their yaks and sheep grazing on the flourishing grasslands. During the drive, you can enjoy the view of the Sky-Road Railway with a snowy mountain background. From the Lagen La Mountain Pass (5190 m) you will be able to have a stunning view of Namsto Lake. Later on, we can do a leisure trek around Tashi Island and enjoy the sunset at Namtso. At night, you can enjoy the night view of the milky way at the lakeshore.

 Today, you have a free day which you can use to explore Namtso Lake and its surroundings. In the morning, you can walk along the lakeshore to Tashi For Island to explore the meditation caves. Spend your day exploring the lakeshore.

 After having your breakfast, we make our way back to Lhasa. It is a long drive so use this leisure time to relax and have some rest as we drive along a scenic road towards Lhasa.

 After breakfast, we'll visit the Depung Monastery, Sera Monastery, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Bazaar. Drepung monastery, which was built in the 14th century, is the world's largest monastery and is believed to have sheltered around 10,000 monks in the past. However, these days there has been quite a decline resulting in only a few hundred. The history, culture, and religious beliefs of the Tibetan people are strongly concentrated and centered in this marvelous monastery. Sera Monastery is a preserved monastery made of whitewashed walls and golden roofs. The main attraction to visiting this monastery is to see the monks debating, which is done every day from 3 to 5 pm, apart from Sundays. Jokhang temple is another important sacred site that unravels more deep-seated mysteries of Tibetan Buddhism. Inside you can see the statue of Buddha Sakyamuni when he was twelve years old. Furthermore, we'll stroll through Barkhor Bazaar, a local market with open-air stalls, shops, and crowds of pilgrims. The bazaar is the nerve center of Lhasa.

 Today, our guide will receive you and then drive you to Patan. You’ll be driven to one of the ancient cities inside Kathmandu Valley i.e. Patan Durbar Square for sightseeing. In Patan, you will be visiting other UNESCO World Heritage sites: Krishna Temple and Patan Durbar Square. Later on, visit the Patan Museum, where you can learn more about the history of Patan and the kings who reigned here. Later, visit the Golden Temple, a major attraction for both Hindu and Buddhist people, and Banglamukhi Temple.

Then after we will be visiting Bhaktapur, you will be amazed by the architecture, as until today the city has been able to be kept intact in its old form. You can observe the old wood-carved buildings all around Bhaktapur. Explore the surroundings and afterward visit the Nyatapola Temple, one of the biggest temples in Nepal. Here, you can also take the pottery-making class using traditional methods. You will visit Pottery Square. Here, you can also take the pottery-making class using traditional methods. You will be taught to design your pot and once you have your basic shape hammered out, you can even choose to adorn your creation with beautiful patterns and inscriptions.
