About this trip

Embark on a magical journey through one of India's most iconic national parks in search of the majestic Bengal tiger, along with sloth bears, leopards, wild dogs, Indian gaur, and an incredible diversity of birdlife.

Designed as a shorter alternative to our longer Central India safari, this departure is perfect for travelers who want to experience one of India's premier wildlife destinations but have less time to spend in the country. By focusing exclusively on Bandhavgarh National Park, you'll maximize your time in the field while enjoying exceptional wildlife viewing and photography opportunities.

Renowned for its high density of Bengal tigers, Bandhavgarh National Park is one of the best places in the world to observe and photograph these magnificent cats in their natural habitat. The park's diverse landscape of lush forests, rocky hills, open meadows, and tranquil waterholes provides a stunning backdrop for wildlife encounters. Beyond its famous tigers, Bandhavgarh is home to leopards, sloth bears, Indian gaur, spotted deer, wild dogs, and an abundance of birdlife, making every game drive a rewarding experience.

As we explore the park's scenic trails, the changing light of dawn and dusk transforms the landscape into a photographer's dream. Whether you're capturing the intense stare of a tiger emerging from the forest, a leopard resting on a rocky outcrop, or the vibrant colors of a kingfisher in flight, every safari offers unforgettable moments. This immersive journey through Bandhavgarh combines outstanding wildlife viewing with a relaxed pace, making it the ideal choice for photographers and nature enthusiasts seeking an authentic Indian safari in a shorter timeframe.

What Makes This Trip Different

This trip is geared towards photographers and wildlife lovers alike

❖ Only 2 guests per safari jeep means you have lots of room to spread out and plenty of space for photography gear

❖ We will have a special full day pass on one of our safari days which means we can get into the park 15 minutes early and leave 15 minutes later than the general public. We can also enter into any gate we choose and we can stay out all day, giving us opportunities to have more intimate and quiet encounters

❖ Our accommodations are in prime locations close to the park so we don't need to drive very long to get to our gate in the morning.

❖ Unlike many tours that charge you extra for sodas, wine, beer and liquor, it's all included on this trip so you don't have to worry about anything but having a great time

❖ We will have the most seasoned and experienced guides in the field

❖ No need to worry about getting yourself to the hotel after a long flight. Our friendly private drivers will be waiting to whisk you away

❖ Our accommodations are top notch with the friendliest staff and locally sourced and authentic cuisine.
