About this trip
As part of Tiger Trails’ responsible travel and community initiative ‘FairTrek’, we are expanding fundraising programs and efforts to assist rural communities on the outskirts of Luang Prabang. FairTrek currently provides various types of support to villages throughout Laos, including a fund to aid the families of tourism professional whose livelihoods have been severely affected by the global pandemic . The construction of housing for the school teacher in Nong Khuay and developing backpacker dormitory and village information centre in Long Lao Mai. In addition we re partnering with Jungle Jar social enterprise initiative that will provide income and support for rural communities through the manufacturing of bamboo water bottles.
