For many years I wanted to share my Tobago with everyone but life got in the way. This is the time and my invitation is simple. Want a little tropical island getaway with a local guide to take you to some truly beautiful spots. Then come with us to Tobago https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tobago. Here we will explore the island, practice yoga and movement, party and gain a little peace in the process. Get to know the people around you a little bit better, the rooms are shared, not that you will be in there much. Come and have fun with the locals and eat, play and lime the true Caribbean way.
We are lucky to have Jamal Faustino Pender and Rob Mann teaching on this adventure. Both gifted teachers and all around lovely men.
Jamal is one of six Budokon Black belts. He a martial artist and is proficient in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai and Kickboxing. He is the owner of MBDY Movement Arts Academy and Regional Director Maryland, BDK University. His voice is quiet and he will lead you through some of the most challenging movement of your life. He will also make time to talk to you and give you some of the best life advice ever. A great teacher who we all respect and follow.
Rob Mann is a brown belt in Budokon. He is also a wrestler, Jiu Jitsu practitioner and all around superb martial artist. He has a softer side and can either teach you a movement flow that will make you feel like jelly or a calisthenics program that will bring out muscles you never imagined you had.
Petra Lee Ghin journey in movement began while recovering from a shoulder injury that severely limited her mobility. She is a certified yoga teacher who studied with Cameron Shayne, the founder of Budokon which combines yoga and martial arts. Petra continued her yogi journey at Kula Yoga Project, deepening her knowledge of human anatomy.
Petra is a practicing martial artist who has a blue belts in Jiu jitsu and Budokon MMA. Her goal is to encourage people from all backgrounds to find strength and flexibility through movement.
